Go back in time with this hands-on archeological experience!
Children discover the science of Archaeology as they uncover ancient artifacts and learn about Egyptian life. We will excavate with tools like a real archaeologist uses. We will find and learn about artifacts as we excavate a scarab (what is that?), including: hieroglyphic tablet, ankh symbol and a jackal. A take-home booklet and the artifacts are yours to keep. We will wet the sand that we dig into and create one of two sand sculptures; you can make a pyramid as well as a sphinx. Perfect for the Indiana Jones fan!
