Oil pulling, also known as "kavala" or "gundusha," is an ancient Ayurvedic dental technique that involves swishing a tablespoon of oil in your mouth on an empty stomach for around 20 minutes. This action reportedly draws out toxins in your body primarily to improve oral health, but also to improve your overall health.
Oil Pulling is a 4,000 year old technique that has recently regained popularity. When you consider our highly toxic environment, oil pulling can become a health practice similar to brushing your teeth or daily bathing.
Traditionally, vegetable oil was the primary oil used for oil pulling. However, in our modern world, most vegetable oils are boiled in highly-toxic solvents in order to extract the oils. Therefore, I do NOT recommend using ANY vegetable oils, except the following: Organic Coconut oil or Organic extra-virgin Olive oil that is NOT from Italy, but rather from the U.S.A., Greece, Spain, Lebanon, or Israel. The reason that I do not recommend Italian Olive Oil, is that it is legal for them to mix other oils into their exported oil without mentioning it on the ingredient label.
You may see recommendations of 15-20 minutes for oil pulling to start with. DO NOT DO THIS, especially if you are sick! The reaction time of oil pulling can be SO fast, and we are SO toxic, that A GRADIENT SCALE APPROACH IS MANDATORY!
I generally start with a teaspoon or a teaspoon and a half, as this is a small enough quantity to comfortably swish around your mouth.
When you are doing it for the very first time, have a small cup handy that you can spit into. If you have congestion in your sinuses or throat, you may not be able to do more than 2 or 3 minutes. Aim for 5 minutes, but if you feel slightly nauseous or have to spit or cough out something, do it!
Next, put another teaspoon in your mouth, and continue. Skip this step if you are coughing up heavy, thick phlegm or it has taken you several minutes to clear your throat. Take a win at the 2 minutes of oil pulling, and do it again the following day. Easy does it!
As an
experiment, I advanced oil pulling by adding one additional step to potentially mitigate detoxification symptoms. After you finish oil pulling with coconut oil and after you are done spitting, swish one teaspoon of
Inner Garden™ or Rest Easy™ in your mouth for 5 minutes, and then spit it out.
Do not under any circumstance swallow this probiotic as it will have pulled a variety of toxins, bacteria and viruses from your mouth. Spit it out and rinse your mouth. As a note, Rest Easy can help to whiten your teeth.
Oil pulling is an extremely powerful detoxification method for the modern man. Considering "chemtrails" (see Internet for data if you do not know the difference between contrails & chemtrails), GMO foods, plastics, female estrogen mimicking plastics, soy, canola oil, commercially grown food with pesticides and herbicides, hormone, antibiotic grown chicken and beef plus a variety of industrial air pollution, one cannot afford not to do oil pulling on a daily basis. (At least 3 times a week in my opinion)
After a couple days, you will get accustomed to the routine. You will LOVE that clean feeling on your teeth and gums. You will NOT miss that arthritic pain. You will NOT miss your lack of energy. You will NOT miss your bleeding gums! You will not miss a whole lot of things... such as asthma, allergies, chronic fatigue, diabetes, migraine headaches, PMS, and chronic skin problems.
Be patient. You spent a lifetime getting toxic. Do it slowly and consistently. It's a cheap, yet very powerful method in use for over 4,000 years!
