Greetings!
Never underestimate the wisdom found in fortune cookies. (Thanks to my friend, Mandy, for sharing this very appropriate fortune with me)
Generosity is the cement of mindfulness -- a combination of awareness, humility, gratitude, empathy and resilience, that when mixed together forms a strong base to build mindfulness. Generosity is not only what we do or give to others; it also means being generous with oneself by giving space, time, and permission to drop in to the present moment. I challenge you to find a way to be generous to YOU this month...how might you strengthen your mindfulness through generosity? I welcome your ideas and thoughts.
Wishing you time and space for generosity,
Pam Pamela Katz Ressler, MS, RN, HNB-BC

Mindfulness and poetry go hand in hand. Those of you who have followed my blog know that I find poetry one way to slow down into the moment and make visible that which was previously invisible. Haiku is one form that resonates with me, but so many others forms of poetry also speak to me. I had the pleasure of meeting a young accomplished artist and poet when I was traveling in Charleston, South Carolina last month. His name is Marcus Amaker and he has recently published his second edition of poems entitled, Mantra. I met Marcus on the last day of National Poetry Month and he offered to write a poem for me. Having only met me a few minutes before, I think he nailed it...what do you think? a poem for pam (by marcus amaker)pam makes connections through words and breath.she knows that minuteis an opportunity tobe mindful, each momentis a chance to be present.Learn more about Marcus and his work

Strategies for Success
Individual Mindfulness Training
| |
- Are you looking for strategies to engage more successfully in your professional life?
- Would you like an individualized approach to mindfulness?
- Weekly group classes don't work for your schedule?
- Are you a "totally Type A person" and cannot fathom how meditation would work for you?
- Do you live too far from my office in the Boston area?
Let's work together to create an individualized approach to mindfulness that will work for YOU. I work with clients across the country, no need to be in the Boston area.
Individual Mindfulness Training is a unique option offered only by Stress Resources that allows the individual to set the pace for training but maintains the essential framework of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) in private or semi-private sessions. Either in my Concord office or conveniently by Skype.
Stress Resources' Individual Mindfulness Training has been successfully taught to entrepreneurs, business leaders, athletes, healthcare professionals, management consultants, teachers, busy parents and students. We work together, mindfully, to meet your needs. What are you waiting for?
