Greetings! 

What bit of beauty did you find in the world today? Are you setting the bar too high? Beauty is ready to be found in our every day existence, not only in those celebratory events that we envision in our mind. Mindfulness helps us to recognize and capture beauty for an instant, witnessing the extraordinary in the ordinary. However, beauty doesn't exist in a vacuum, it is meant to be shared. For the final countdown to spring (March 20) I am stopping and noticing some bit of beauty that entered my sphere of mindfulness each day and sharing it on my blog. Won't you join me?

Many of you have asked about an opportunity for a retreat day to practice and cultivate mindfulness. You asked and I listened...stay tuned for updates on a mindfulness meditation retreat I am planning for late spring. More information to come in the April newsletter.

2015 Spring Schedule

Meditation Maintenance Sessions
are a great way to give yourself a monthly self-care "tune-up" by joining with fellow meditators to discuss insights and challenges of your practice.

Due to a rent increase for my office space, 2015 Meditation Maintenance will be $20 per session. However, if this increase is difficult for you, I welcome you to pay whatever feels right for you. My intent in offering for these meditation sessions has always been and continues to be to create a space open, accessible and affordable to all.

Our general schedule is the 2nd Wednesday (evening) and 2nd Friday (afternoon) of each month. However, there may be some months when we will meet on other Wednesdays or Fridays. Please see the schedule below.

You are welcome to attend each month or simply on an occasional basis. You will find a supportive and welcoming respite in the midst of your busyness.

Want to Meditate with Jon Kabat-Zinn?
Jon Kabat-Zinn
On Saturday, March 21, Jon Kabat-Zinn, founder of the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Clinic at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, will lead a full day meditation workshop/retreat. The workshop, entitled Catching up with an Old Friend -- Yourself, will be online and live streamed. While intended for those with some background in mindfulness meditation, it is open to anyone who wants to spend the day (beginning at 6 AM ET) with Jon and explore the wisdom of cultivating mindfulness both formally and informally into one's life. Individualized, Flexible Mindfulness Training

Look no further than our Flexible Mindfulness Training. Stress Resources offers individual and semi-private training in Mindfulness Based Stress meditation Reduction. Sign up for semi-private sessions with a friend and one of you trains for 1/2 price ($200 savings).

  

Flexible MBSR/Private and Semi-Private  Mindfulness Training: This unique option offered by Stress Resources allows the individual to set the pace for training but maintains the essential framework of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction in private or semi-private sessions.

The Flexible Mindfulness Training

  • Includes four 1-hour sessions that may be scheduled
    in the morning, afternoon or evening to meet your needs. We can meet in person, in Stress Resources' Concord office, or via Skype. 
  • Materials provided include 5 CDs (downloadable to mp3), copy of Full Catastrophe Living by Jon Kabat-Zinn, training workbook and reference guide.
  • Allows your MBSR training to take place over 8-12 weeks at your own pace and schedule with individualized coaching
  • Add a friend option allows you to learn the skills of MBSR with a friend and train for 1/2 price! (BCBS discount cannot be combined with this special rate)
