Creative Art Guild and Habitat announce partnership for Art Exhibition in October

Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County and the Guild of Creative Art are pleased to announce its first ever Art Exhibition marking the 4th Anniversary of Hurricane Sandy. We are looking for individuals to volunteer in this exhibition and create a piece of work that symbolizes Habitat and the impact Hurricane Sandy has made on our lives.

The artist may create a piece for the exhibit by either combining a found construction item or using one of Habitat's construction plans as an inspiration for an original work of art, which will be provided. All artwork will be displayed and on sale during the reception on October 28th from 6-9 pm at the Creative Arts Guild building in Shrewsbury. Sales will benefit the continuation of Habitat's mission and that of the Guild. If you are interested in participating, please contact Rebecca at RVele@habitatmonmouth.org or 732.728.0441 ext. 318.
