Habitat in Monmouth announces Limited Share Raffle winners
Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County is proud to announce that it has drawn the winners for its very first limited share raffle. Over 160 tickets were purchased for this year's raffle. On December 8, our new partner Liz Reyes drew the tickets of Kathy McDonough for the first prize of a $10,000 visa gift card and Dennis Hagan as the winner of the second prize - an Island Resort Trip to Antigua ($3,000).
Congratulation to Kathy and Dennis! Thank you to everyone who supported our very first limited share raffle - we look forward to doing it again next year!

Volunteer to Gift Wrap at the Monmouth Mall December 11-24
Once again Habitat in Monmouth has been invited to host a Holiday Gift Wrapping station at the Monmouth Mall during the Holiday Season. Now through Christmas Eve, volunteers will be wrapping gifts in exchange for donations to the affiliate in the Food Court outside the movie theatre.

#GivingTuesday raises nearly $1,800 to "Fund the Foundation" for the Reyes Family
On December 1, Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County joined thousands of nonprofits around the world in the global giving movement #GivingTuesday. Our efforts raised nearly $1,800 to support the foundation for the Reyes family home. The home was started as part of the House that Rock Built project in early October. Watch the video to see the heartfelt thank you from the Reyes family during the recent groundbreaking.
The "Fund the Foundation" campaign will continue through the new year. A foundation for a new home costs $30,000 and we are looking to raise these funds through the generous donations our of supporters. To donate to the "Fund the Foundation" campaign, visit www.habitatmonmouth.org/fundthefoundation

House that Rock Built groundbreaking in Freehold
On December 5, dozens of friends, family and volunteers gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking for the Reyes home in Freehold. The frame of the house was completed in early October as part of the House that Rock Built Mall Build in Eatontown. Volunteers will continue to work on the house in Freehold until its completion in Spring 2016.
