How do I stay centered under pressure?

The summer clothes have been put away and Fall is here in New England. It's a busy Fall and we're excited that our upcoming Leadership Embodiment course is just a week away. Here's a bit about it.

Our world is a complicated place. We have huge social problems to solve and our personal lives are increasingly complicated.  How do you respond to these pressures and stress in general?  Leadership Embodiment is a way of being and a set of tools to help us recover "center" under pressure.  Our sense of agency and power lies in our capacity to recover "center" with speed and ease.

In this course, we will observe our physical patterns as we simulate everyday pressures of life and leadership.  During these two days we will learn about our energetic and physical responses to stress. We cannot change our habits through the mind alone. Neuroscientists are proving how physical posture, breath and the way we carry ourselves energetically influences the environment around us.  If you are interested in deepening your capacity to be a more effective leader of your life, business or organization in which you are a part, then join us. You won't be disappointed.  There are still a few spots left in this Fall 2 day Leadership Embodiment course.

Leadership Embodiment workshop is from 9:30-4pm, Saturday and Sunday, November 9-10th with Elizabeth Valentine at Cambridge Health Associates in Central Square. Click here for more details
