"IT'S YOUR TIME TO SHINE!"

Esther 4:14: "If you persist in staying silent at a time like this, help and deliverance will arrive for the Jews from someplace else; but you and your family will be wiped out. Who knows? Maybe you were made queen for just such a time as this."

I've posted a song this week that I'd like you to take time to listen to. It may not be your style of music but the words are powerful. It had been awhile since I listened to this song but came across it the other day and was stirred. We first came across this song when we started the "Purpose" Pre-teen youth group at our church in Maine. It was a song that we felt was fitting for the up and coming generation of kids. As I listened to it again, I was stirred to share it in this week's Stephen's Gate because it doesn't just apply to kids, it applies to each and every one of us.

There has been a stirring within me over the past few weeks, a stirring of anticipation. The anticipation you have when you know something great is about to happen, breakthrough is about to take place, and God is about to move. I can sense it in the people at church, the worship, and the preaching. There is a stirring taking place.

In this passage, Esther is being encouraged not to keep silent because she was born for that day and that time to bring deliverance to the people. I want to encourage you with the same thing. Now, I'm not saying you will be wiped out if you keep silent, but you may not step into what God has called you to do if you keep silent.

We are living in the most opportune time in the world today. We are living in the most exciting and crucial times The Church has ever seen. We have the ability to literally reach the entire world with the Gospel through technology. People from all over the world can hear the gospel without ever seeing a minister or missionary face to face.

I believe the Lord's word to you today is: "Do not stay silent at a time like this, do not miss what God has called you to do. It's your time to shine; you were born for such a time as this!"

"This is the anthem of our generation, here we are God, shake our nation. All we need is your love." That last line is the key; all we need is your love. It's the love of Christ that will save this world. As we display God's love through us to others, opportunities will arise to share the promises of God with others.

I believe we are in a "now" moment. We must act now; we must not stay silent any longer. God is calling us to arise to our position. It's time to take back our towns, cities, schools, workplaces, government, and families for God!

Will you answer the call? Will you say, "I won't be silent any longer?" Whether this song is your style or not, I ask you to listen to the words of this song.

This is your day, this is your time to shine, and you were born for such a time as this!
