"THE TIDES ARE TURNING"

  

 Psalms 118:15-16: Hear the shouts, hear the triumph songs in the camp of the saved! "The hand of God has turned the tide! 16 The hand of God is raised in victory! The hand of God has turned the tide!"

 

As I was driving to work today I heard the Lord speak these words to me, "The tides are turning." Anytime that phrase is used it means a change in direction or a change in the way things are going. I believe we are now in the season of turning tides.

 

You may be in a season of things not going in the direction you'd like them to go or things just not going in your favor but I believe the Lord gave me this word for you, the tides are turning! It is time to step into your destiny, it is time for promises to be fulfilled, and it is time for things to begin working in your favor, on your behalf.

 

If this speaks to you, I want you to print this passage and put it somewhere in your house because it's going to be your victory Scripture before this year is over. You will be declaring; "Hear the shouts, hear the triumph songs in the camp of the saved! The hand of God has turned the tide! The hand of God is raised in victory! The hand of God has turned the tide!" The key in this Scripture is the phrase, "the hand of God." He's going to do it, all it's going to take is His hand on your situation and defeat will turn to victory, sadness to joy, mourning to dancing, and bondage to freedom. The hand of God is raised in victory! The hand of God has turned the tide!

 

As I was thinking about this the Lord also spoke to me about The Church in Maine. Most of us know the reports that Maine is the least religious state in the nation. Well, the Lord says the tides are turning. Maine is about to go from the least religious to the most. Eyes are about to turn to Maine and The Church in this state will experience one of the greatest awakenings this nation has ever seen. The hand of God is raised in victory! The hand of God has turned the tide!

 

Do not be discouraged; do not be disappointed you are being set up for one of the greatest victories in your life. Stay strong and stay true to what God has called you to do because the tides are turning!

Stephen's Gate is a weekly devotion that purposes to encourage people to live the victorious life God has called them to. Stephen grew up in a Christian home and was raised in Church. As a young boy he was very shy and never wanted to be the center of attention, however, he always had the desire to preach and minister to others. God called him into ministry in his late twenties and he has enjoyed every minute of it. Stephen previously served as Assistant Pastor in Fort Fairfield, Maine.  Stephen is an ordained minister under Celebration Center. He has been married to his wife Kristen for 9 years and has two beautiful girls, Abigail and Sydney.
