"YOUR ONE ANSWER"

Exodus 12:13: But the blood on your doorposts will serve as a sign, marking the houses where you are staying. When I see the blood, I will pass over you. This plague of death will not touch you when I strike the land of Egypt. NLT

Some of you received and attempted to answer the "test" question I sent out prior to this week's Stephen's Gate. All of your answers were very good and very close to what I was looking for. Your one answer that I'm looking for is found in the above scripture.

In this passage there was a plague sent out by the Lord with the intention of executing judgment on the gods of Egypt (verse 12). On that night every firstborn son and firstborn male animal would be struck dead. The only way for this plague of death to pass over a household was to have the blood from a sacrificed lamb spread on the sides and top of the door post.

What you see is a picture of what was done for us on the cross. The Lamb of God was sacrificed and blood was shed for us. The purpose of His shed blood goes way beyond salvation. Yes, He died to save us from our sins and it's so important we don't forget that. He also died for every provision you need in life. He shed His blood so that the plague of death must pass over your household. When bodily death approaches, death to your marriage, death to your finances, death to your destiny and your future, when any of these try to sneak into your life they must go because you're covered in the blood! When the enemy sees the blood, he must pass over, he can't touch you!

It's important that you get this in your spirit. The blood is your one answer to anything going on in your life. I think sometimes we plead the blood without fully understanding what that means. When you plead the blood you're marking the door posts of your life and saying "pass over" plague of death, you're not welcome here. We have to understand that there are things such as healing that already belongs to us; we don't need to beg for it, you're already healed! Typically, when sickness creeps in we have an attitude of, "Well, the flu is going around so it makes sense that I'm sick." I challenge you to reverse that thinking and begin to say, "Why is sickness trying to creep in? I'm healed and this flu is trying to sneak in and steal my healing." Do this for everything, not just the flu, any sickness and anything in life that tries to rob you. I am prosperous, I have a future, I have a destiny, I have promises and they already belong to me so what is this that's trying to sneak in a steal it? These things don't creep in because of our sin, your Father DOES NOT punish you. Yes, there are sometimes consequences to decisions we make but the blood is still there to heal, deliver, and set free. Plead the blood over that situation and watch God work!

Your one answer is "The Blood." The blood of Jesus is so much more than your salvation; it's the answer to all of life's problems. When you get this down in you so deep, and you run into situations contrary to the Word of God, you'll find yourself saying two words over that situation, "The Blood." We have complicated Christianity with our lists of rituals and things we need to do when everything we need was accomplished on the cross. It's time for the Body of Christ to be set free! History was changed at the cross; the blood was shed for your COMPLETE deliverance. Mark your door posts and proclaim your one answer over your circumstances!
