"2013: THE YEAR OF OVERFLOW"
Proverbs 3:10: Then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will burst with wine.
So, here I was on a plane last week and the Lord begins to speak to me about 2013. All I heard initially was one word, overflow. As I sat there thinking on this and listening to what the Lord was saying I knew He was speaking to me directly but I also knew this is a word for the Body of Christ. So, here it goes.
"The Lord says last year may have been a year of lack, a year of sifting, and a year of testing but I say it was a year of preparing. I brought you to the place you're at on purpose because I was preparing you for now. I needed to get you to the point where there was nothing you could do on your own, you have no choice but to rely 100% on Me. Now, get ready for 2013. You WILL prosper in the land I have called you to, you WILL have favor, you WILL walk in blessing for I am now intervening in every area of your life. I am binding the hand of the enemy and you are about to experience an overflow in EVERY area of your life and My Church WILL experience a year of overflow. 2012 was a year to never forget, 2013 WILL be a year to always remember. It's time for overflow says the Lord!"
I wrote this exactly how the Lord gave this to me, I did not add delete or change anything. I was trying to type as quickly as I could, and as I was, this really hit home for me. I truly believe 2013 will be a year of overflow.
The Scripture above is what the Lord first gave me. In context it is referring to the giving from our wealth but I believe barns are to be filled in every area of your life.
The Lord also directed me to this other Scripture and this is why I say this applies to every area of your life. Deuteronomy 28:8: "The LORD will command the blessing to be with you-in your barns and on all the work you do-and he will bless you on the land the LORD your God is giving you."
In other words, the Lord's going to bless you right were you're at, the place He's called you to occupy. Get ready, there's an overflow coming to a home near you! I would encourage you to post Deuteronomy 28:8 on your fridge or someplace where you will see it every day.
