Proud of impressive PhDs

Research travel is a vital element of the academic community. We recently created a scholarship opportunity to help serve emerging scholars. I am proud to announce our inaugural Sabbatical Homes Scholarship Opportunity recipient, Samantha Gambling! Please check out my video message and join us in supporting tomorrow's scholars.

Helping Propel Global Sustainable Agriculture

Meet Samantha Gambling, a graduate student of Land and Food Systems at the University of British Columbia, traveling to Dunedin, New Zealand, where she will be hosted by the Centre for Sustainability at the University of Otago (CSAFE). During her time there, she will be helping propel environmentally sustainable, socially just, and economically viable global food systems.

What they're researching & where they're going

We were so overwhelmed by the number of impressive scholarship applications we received that we knew we had to share our group of finalists' research with the Sabbatical Homes community. Discover what they're researching and where they need to go. Maybe you can host one of these impressive scholars in your space!

Participate on a BBC program

Because of our renowned membership of academic scholars in the UK, BBC One personally reached out to us in search of new participants to feature on their program 'Home Away From Home.' If you're an SH member living in the United Kingdom and interested in sharing a home swap experience on television,
