A hidden treasure in London

I had the pleasure of catching up with two happy SH members in London. Andrew found a unique boat home rental that he's using as a quiet, peaceful writer's retreat; and Faith, the homeowner, is happy to have a scholarly tenant.    

 

 



Meet the first Sabbatical Homes baby!

An American family from Ithaca, New York (Cornell University) relocated their family of 6 to the UK while on a 10 month assignment at Harefield Hospital--welcoming their lucky 7th member during their sabbatical stay! How did they do it?  We were excited to catch up with the families who made this Small World Connection so special.

Based at the University of Toronto, Dr. Kari Dehli is a Professor in the Department of Sociology and Equity Studies in Education, at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.
