DISTRICT 5 ROUNDUP                                                         October 5, 2012

Welcome to the October newsletter for Placer County District 5! Fall is here and we want to keep you informed about what is going on in Placer County and District 5. September was an action packed month with successful adoption of our balanced County Budget for 2012/13, multiple meetings on a number of development proposals moving forward in the District and County, and a chance to allocate some Federal funds through the US Forest Service Resource Advisory Council.  I had the opportunity to see many of you at the Gold Country Fair, Music on the Beaches in Kings Beach and Tahoe City, Symphony in the Park in Auburn, the Union Pacific Railroad event in Colfax and one of my four monthly coffees.  On a more personal note, I mourned the passing of my dear Uncle Chick, but celebrated 21 years of happily married life with my wonderful husband Dan. As always, if you don't wish to receive this newsletter, you may unsubscribe at any time. I hope you find the information useful and I hope to see you out in the beautiful 5th District!
