Dear Parents and Friends of OLMC School,

Today will mark the end of our extended Catholic Schools Week.  Thank you to all families, teachers, staff, parishioners, and students who have contributed to a week (plus a few days) of spirit and fun in the name of Catholic education.  This afternoon holds one of the signature events of the spirit cheer and parade, and we look forward to bestowing the spirit stick on the next worthy homeroom!

Our National Junior Honor Society is offering tutoring on Tuesday mornings from 7:30-8:00.  Any child who needs some extra help with reading practice, math practice, or specific areas which can be helped by extra exposure and practice with an older, eligible student, can attend these tutoring sessions.  Please email the NJHS Advisor, Sister Dominic, at principal@olmc-school.com, if you would like your child to participate. Tutoring sessions begin Tuesday, February 18th at 7:30 a.m.

Our volunteer reception has been rescheduled for Friday, February 21st.  Our new development director, Mike Oppelt, looks forward to meeting all of you and sharing the growing vision of development with the help of the OLMC Volunteers (our heroes!).  Please come over to the cafeteria after Mass for some refreshments, to enjoy a little student entertainment, and to be appreciated!  Thank you for all you do for our school, and for your commitment to parenting and education in a day where it is difficult to do this in a Christian way.  You are constantly in my prayers.

With prayers for your families,

Sister Dominic
