Manila: "Don't say 'Cheese!" for your visa photo. The U.S. embassy in Manila has posted an amusing article on how to pose for your visa photos.  Following these tips will save you time when you go for your interview. 

Visa feesOn April 13, fees for all immigrant visas went down; some non-immigrant visas increased.

Brazil and China:  The U.S. government is working on increasing the numbers of visitor visas from these countries, and to speed up the processing times.  Two new consulates will open in Belo Horizonte and Porto Alegre, to assist.
