Message from the Principal

Dear Families,
Today is Pope Benedict's last full day as Pope of Catholic Church. Let us pray for the cardinals as they chose the new leader of the Catholic Church. The Times-News visited BSS today and asked teachers and students about the Pope. Look for the story sometime this week.
Preschool Visits Kindergarten
This morning Preschool-4 had a great visit with Kindergarten. They tested which liquid/substance cleaned pennies the best. I was surprised how ketchup made the penny shine!
Chinese Acrobats
Yesterday, the students were treated to a great performance by the Chinese Acrobats. The troupe did amazing acts on the unicycle, juggling hats and spinning plates. Thank you HSA for sponsoring the Blue Ribbon Series.
Blessed Sacrament School is responsible for spending an hour with Christ on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. If you have time to sit and watch with Him for one "Holy Hour" on this day, please sign -up using this link. During this Lenten Season, it will be a wonderful opportunity to take time away from the physical world and have your spirit say, "Here I am Lord".
