Starting September 1st, the Temple Goodwill Learning Center will no longer offer GED prep classes through Temple College. Anyone interested in GED prep must contact Temple College for more information.

Staff at the Temple Learning Center are trained to assist individuals navigate the Your Texas Benefits website. If you need help applying or reapplying for Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, or CHIP, Goodwill can help!

Want to upgrade your computer skills and set yourself apart from your peers (job-seekers, etc)? Ever wonder what "the cloud" is and why it's such a big deal? Are you scared, confused, or just don't know where to start? Join us for a guided tour of Google Apps, Trello, Social Media Apps, and other collaborative web applications. Get your questions answered and don't be left in the dark again! This class takes place each Wednesday from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.

Cost: $65.00 per person for Forklift training (includes class material and hands-on instruction) $

(All courses: state approved certificate issued at end of class)

- Get trained in safety procedures and defensive driving.

-Most insurance carriers offer a driver improvement discount for taking this course.
-Cost-effective drug classes, alcohol awareness classes, adn minor in possession (MIP) courses are ideal for court, and personal, requirements.

At Goodwill, the Mission Services Staff are busy helping individuals prepare for jobs through interview prep, job search assistance, and computer skills training. While this is happening, Natalie is busy connecting with local employers, searching for job openings, and coordinating job fairs for people ready to start work! Local businesses can contact  Natalie to learn how Goodwill's Business Services can help them find qualified, dependable candidates for their workforce.

Do you currently work in or have experience in the retail, restaurant, or hospitality industry? Ar you ready to turn you job into a career? If you answered "yes" to both questions above then check out Careers in Retail! This initiative focuses on helping participants gain the leadership development skills necessary to advance in their position and provide employers qualified individuals to fill mid-level jobs within the retail, restaurant, and hospitality industries.
