WISHIN Pulse: Growing in 2014
It is already shaping up to be a busy year here at WISHIN. In 2014 we will continue our campaign to bring health care providers from all over the state into WISHIN Pulse, our interoperable community health record service.
During the past year we secured commitments from hospitals and health systems with more than 740 locations throughout Wisconsin. In the coming months, we will leverage this momentum to extend our footprint and build a robust community of users.
Our new communications campaign launches next month, targeting hospital and health system leadership throughout the state. In our effort to educate them about the benefits associated with WISHIN Pulse, we will be launching:
- Tools to help health care leaders calculate how HIE can improve quality, increase efficiencies and save money
- Testimonials from WISHIN supporters and early adopters
- One-on-one communications alerting prospective WISHIN Pulse users to the neighboring health care organizations that have already joined
- An email drip campaign presenting specific examples of how WISHIN Pulse can improve workflow and help meet Meaningful Use Transition of Care and Public Health objectives
- Use cases demonstrating how WISHIN Pulse can deliver the vital data that providers, administrative staff and hospital leadership might be missing
This spring, our efforts will expand to include independent clinics, nursing homes, hospices and others. The involvement of these important community providers is critical for reducing readmissions and improving continuity of care, and we look forward to rounding out our diverse WISHIN Pulse user group with these organizations.
