Saints, it was a challenging intense week with enemies within and without the church.
With intercessions and the power of the Holy Spirit, we stormed the gates of Hell and snatched 3 more from the flames!!

Video of the Week:
How to Get Your Virginity Back!
Born Again Virginity
Born Again Virginity
A beautiful message of grace and forgiveness from Bro. Jed to the University of Arizona Hill Heckler Gang who tormented us all week. Sixteen of them came to dinner at Bro. Dean Saxton's home and heard this message. There was no heckling! One girl prayed for salvation that night!!!!

UA JED FEST 2014

February 17, 2014, University of Arizona
Dean Saxton IV, three years ago, accepted my challenge to rise up against the evil doers and the workers of iniquity.  This year Dean's parents are graciously hosting us.  Dean has become
Fools make a mock at sin! Prov. 14:9
a preaching machine in Tucson, not only on campus but also at the high schools.  He is notorious for rebuking the coeds for their scandalously immodest attire.  It has a much greater impact on the lusty hussies, when a peer, a fellow student, a man their own age tells them to put on more clothes, than it does from someone from my generation attempts to correct these female exhibitionists.

Dean truly has a kind spirit in warning the girls for their own protection not to dress in such a provocative manner.  He has groupies, who hang onto his words, but evidently, as yet, do not submit to his admonitions.

When we arrived on campus at 11:45 an upstart preacher with Calvinist's views began rebuking me, telling me that I was just promoting my ministry and not promoting Jesus.   He said I needed to get saved and prophesied that today was the end of my ministry.

This fundamentalist guy, far right, had followed our website schedule and met us on campus to rail on Bro. Jed who chose to remain silent. Sis. Cindy rebuked him sharply at first but then we either ignored him or moved to another spot.

He could not make up his mind whether to rebuke me for my lack of love or proclaim God's love to the sinners.  He went on and on about the penal substitution view of the atonement thinking that his theory revealed a loving God.  I did not respond to his criticism.  Cindy did confront him, even standing up on his stool at one point.  I cautioned Cindy to get off his stool, especially since he was attempting to pull it out from under her feet.

Bro. Dean is in the center somewhere preaching.

I cannot count the number of wanna be prophets, who have prophesied to me over the years that my ministry is finished, even going back to when I started forty years ago.  None of them have ever stopped me or even slowed me down.  The fellow was very proud of himself for standing up to me.  He said to me, "I used to preach like you but I changed."

Bro. Jed listens to a question from someone on the Hill.
The sinners had prepared for our coming by promoting the Jed Fest.  Today's theme was "Metal Monday" in which they brought out a large amplifier to play their decadent music.  The university allows amplification over the noon hour.  As soon as the noise started the sinners began intentionally knocking into one another.  This mayhem soon came to an end, when one metalist knocked into a female hurting her to the point of tears.

She only wanted to hug one of the guitarists, Josh, but he was more interested in gyrating to the decadence than he was the girl.  Meanwhile, Dean preached with his megaphone, while the wanna be prophet continued to rebuke me, now with a megaphone.  He claimed he was going to follow me from campus to campus.  I doubt if he will be able to keep up with my pace for long.  It was a chaotic scene.  However, the girl getting hurt, which resulted in the fire engine arriving with medics, subdued the sinners' plans for a big dance.

Students were playing loud metal music and had planned mosh pit dancing in protest, but one girl was hurt when a fellow dancer knocked her into a metal piece on a wall.  She spent the day in the emergency room. That put a quick stop to the devil dancing.

I did not preach until 1:45, which was the first class break without the amplification.  I preached from a tract I found on the ground, which had eight questions which Jesus asked.  It provided good preaching material.  I supposed that the upstar preacher would confront me again.  Evidently he got involved in conversations with a few students and was not a nuisance for the rest of the day, which was relatively calm.

Injured girl, yells at Sis. Pat while being helped   to the ambulance by Josh the ringleader of the Hill Heckler Gang. Later in the week Sis. Pat had a fruitful conversation with the girl.

I psychoanalyzed Amber, a pretty lesbian, as to the influences that led her to choose lesbianism.  I concluded it was because she was born out of wedlock, the result of a one-night stand by a father, who was never a part of her life.  Consequently, she hated men.  She claims her mother has no problem with her lesbianism.  Likely, she hates men as well.

Sis. Cindy reads the "Dick, Jane, and Sally Story" while Bro. Deans holds the truth horn for her to be heard over the metal music.

Dean, Sister Pat and Cindy all preached.  Cindy and I revived the "Dick, Jane and Sally Story" today.  I have not used the tract, which we
ASU student taking in the whole scene.
have blown up, in years.

This evening we had dinner with the Mike Orr family and friends.  Mike was a great help to me and a mighty witness at the University of Arizona over the years.  He went on to his reward last year when we were in Tucson.  I gave the opening prayer at his funeral.  We watched sideshow of Mike's life.  I was so pleased to see to pictures of Mike testifying on campus with me.

Bro. Jed had a long conversation with this student who Sis. Pat ministered to the following day. After reading 6 chapters of Genesis he prayed for salvation.

THE CULT OF DEAN DAY

February 18, 2014, UA

When we arrived on campus, the wanna be prophet was already preaching against me; somebody said he had been there from 10 AM.   Since he had a bull horn, I did not care to try to compete.  I don't like preaching with a bull horn.

Richard Schaffer was on campus today; he was inspired by my ministry from hearing me at the University of Minnesota in the 70's.  He graduated in 1976 and worked for the University for 17 years and would listen to me during the noon hour.   In 1994 he started preaching in the streets and on campus.  He went on the road with Paul Stamm for a short time.  He travels the country without an automobile.  I have always appreciated Richard's gentle and quiet spirit.

Sister Pat sharing the story of Creation to the rebels on the Hill. Later she talked to a student one-on-one, they read from Genesis and he prayed for salvation through Jesus.

Dean and I decided to change locations and preach in front of the Student Union.  Sister Pat preached for a while then I took over towards the end of the class break.  We only gathered a small audience.  We debated whether to continue in the location or return to the Hill, where the sinners hang out.  Meanwhile, two girls from the Hill begged us to return where everyone was waiting.  We told them that they had to urge the students to be nicer to us.  We considered the pros and cons of the different locations.  Soon a representative of the Secular Society asked us to return so the students could play Brother Jed Bingo.  She said, "We are bored with the other preacher.  He is very annoying.  Everyone has gathered to hear Brother Jed."

Sis. Pat congratulates Bro. Dean as he begins his third year of ministry.  She gives him a check for his annual Europe summer mission.

We reluctantly relented and returned to the Hill with the students helping us with our stuff.  Meanwhile, Richard got the idea to go back to talk to the other preacher and counsel him not to interfere with our preaching.  He was unable to get any promises.

Students had chalked into the sidewalk a pentagram for The Cult of Dean and they were mocking human sacrifices unto Dean.  Girls would pretend to allow their throats to be cut.  They went through various rites.  They were dressed in robes and chanting and leading everyone in praises to Dean.

This mocker repented later in the week.

Initially, I ignored them and walked around the Hill preaching to different groups.  I finally settled on a group at the top of the Hill and taught on the Golden Rule.  After I preached, I spoke briefly to Nicole, who upon my questioning said she believed.  The other preacher soon zeroed in on her and must have given her a good witness because he was able to pray with her to receive Christ.  He then loudly proclaimed, "This girl just got saved.  How many have been saved from your ministry, Jed?"

Blasphemous students can be hard to suffer.  But endure we did and three turned to Jesus Christ this week.

He berated me, "Jed you need to return to every university where you have ever preached and apologize to the students."  Despite all the confusion and chaos, we can rejoice that a sinner confessed Christ.  God uses all kinds of vessels.  Later, I had the opportunity to talk with Nicole.  She said that my preaching convicted her of her lying.  When teaching on the Golden Rule, I had said to the students, "You do not want to be lied to; therefore, you ought not to lie to others."

"Bro. Jed, the most patient man I know," Sis. Cindy

She heard from the other preacher that Jesus died to atone for her sins.  Thankfully, one does not have to have the right theory of the atonement in order to get saved.  They do need to acknowledge that somehow Jesus' death provides them the opportunity to have the forgiveness of sins. Dean later said that he has been working with Nicole for a long time.  God typically uses various vessels to bring a person to salvation, which is a lesson every preacher should remember.

Bro. Jed gave Bro. Dean a gift for his summer Europe mission and applauded his ministry for the third year at the University of Arizona.

After one of many rituals the Dean Cult celebrated, I publically praised Dean for his dedication and presented him with a check to help with his European tour this summer.  Sister Pat gave him an even more generous check.  Dean is very committed to getting out the word.  At one point Dean spoke with authority to the cultists and said, "If you are following me, you need to listen to me."  He then extended his little sign which reads, "Permission to Speak."  He required the students to take hold of the sign before they could ask a question.  The cult obeyed Dean's instructions and he had an orderly hour of answering questions about Jesus, science and the Bible.

The Bro. Dean Cult Day
The Hill Heckler Gang had planned a "Cult of Dean" day to mock the preaching. They were very disruptive and for the most part we preached in another area. However, at this point we played their game a little and said that we believed in Dean too and had a presentation to make to him. This got them all listening...

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to witness to Jehoshaphat, who approached me commending the way I handled the other preacher, who harangued me.  We had a lengthy conversation.  Today, Sister Pat read the first eight chapters of Genesis to Jehoshaphat, which ended in Pat praying for him for salvation; then he prayed for his soul's redemption.

Nicole joined us for dinner at Dean's home and verified at the dinner table that she had made the decision to follow Jesus Christ.  She is a psychology major, who is articulate and has not allowed the psychology which she has learned in the classroom to override her common sense.

RED NECK DAY

February 19, 2014, UA

The sinners designated today as Red Neck Day of Jed Fest 2014.  However, we decided to not preach on the Hill, where the
Sis. Cindy told sinners that they could only be "Happy, Happy Happy," through Jesus.
organizers of the event hang out.  We moved to the front of the Student Union and stuck with that location all afternoon.  We played along with their designated theme by making Duck Dynasty our motif.

Cindy wore a t-shirt which read, "Duck Dynasty, Happy, Happy, Happy."  Sister Pat also had a t-shirt which read, "Duck Dynasty" and had a picture of the men of the family.  Cindy used our duck call to command sinners to repent.  As she preached against specific sins, she would command the sinners with the duck call.  She held a Dean made sign which said, "No homo is happy, happy, happy.  Phil Robertson was right about homo."  After Cindy finished her sermon an unhappy homo, who appeared to be at least in his late thirties, grabbed the sign out of Cindy's hands and tore it to pieces.
  They are miserable creatures.

The girl who got hurt Mosh Dancing on Monday, did not learn her lesson. She is back with more vulgarity.

It was not long before the sinners from the Hill moved to our location.  Without us, they had no show.  There were dressed as red necks and waved a Confederate flag.  They were less disruptive than the last two days, but still a nuisance.  It wasn't long before the secularists relocated their tent to be close to us.  The wanna be prophet was left with sole possession of the Hill.  I hope he made the best of his opportunity.  He has a helpful message if he can get over his obsession with me.
Bro. Dean preaching on the "fear of the Lord."

Cindy connected well in her preaching and with the Condom Gospel.  I usually spend more time interacting with the students in Q & A.  However, with all the frivolousness, it was difficult to connect with the students on any subjects which required serious thought.

I called upon Richard Schaffer, who began by asking students certain questions.  He asked, "Who did Jesus claim to be his mother?"  Of course, they thought that was an easy one.  Someone answered, "Mary."  No, Richard answered.[Richard has about five percent of the Bible memorized.]  He quoted from Matthew 12:46-50:
While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Angry student tore up the "happy" sign.
We have been praying this week to have good one-on-one conversation or talks with small groups.  We were disappointed that more students did not personally approach us the first two days.  However, each one in our five man team reported good conversations today.
Cindy remarked on conversations with a number of girls.  Two pretty whorish types asked her, "Is Dean really a virgin?"  Cindy answered, "Not only is he a virgin, he has never kissed a girl."  Dean's father counseled him early on to remain pure.  The girls also asked how Dean started preaching and his connection with us.
Sis. Cindy used the duck call to draw the sinners and command them to Repent and Believe in Jesus!

They were shocked at the story.  Most students seem amazed when we report that students are actually reached though our ministry.  Cindy also had a profitable conversation with one of the hecklers, who admitted that he was possessed of demons.  Cindy advised him, "When the demons attack, call out to Jesus!"

The man who tore up the sign. Conviction!
At 5 PM we returned to the Hill to pray.  We discerned that there are demons which inhabit the Hill.  We reclaimed it for Christ. Christ likes hills.  I imagine that the Hill is about the size of the mount where Jesus gave his best known sermon.  He suffered on Mount Calvary.  In Psalm 50:10 God claims, "The cattle on a thousand hills are mine."  Surely, he would want us to stake claim to the wildcats, who inhabitant the Hill and turn them into his disciples.

Another unhappy sodomite.
To our supporters I say, we need your prayers.  The battle is raging here.  Satan is releasing all his minions to attack us and he is even using a confused preacher to attempt to confound our efforts.  His prophesy concerning the demise of my ministry on Monday has already failed to come to pass.  Someday I suppose one of these wanna be prophets, who oppose me will by chance get it right.  Certainly, I cannot go on forever.  Even then I trust there will be others like Dean, Richard and, of course, Cindy to carry on the work.  Who knows, I have known preachers who initially opposed me then changed their minds and became supporters.

Later Sis. Cindy had a chance to minister one-on-one to the guy playing the guitar.  He admitted to being tormented by demons.  She told him to cry out to Jesus next time that they attacked him.
Campus employees listen to the preaching from a balcony.

Sis. Cindy also had a good conversation with the girl in the tank top.

THE CALM AFTER THE STORM
February 20, 2014, UA
Cindy and Sister Pat preached on the mall.  I went to the Hill,
Sis. Cindy starting the meeting in the mall area while Bro. Jed preached at Heckler Hill
where Richard was already holding forth.  He soon turned the Hill over to me.  A student asked, "Why doesn't God do what he expects us to do like feed the hungry?"  I explained that it is not easy for God to govern mankind.  God does not simply do things by snapping his fingers.  There are great difficulties for God in accomplishing his will in the affair of men.  The boy seemed satisfied with my answer.  Several were listening including a Christian girl who is a regular.
Students were attentive and no extreme heckling today.  Thanks for the prayers!

The Hill Hecklers were sitting at the top of the mount; however, they did not seem to be paying any attention.  The ones I had listening left after 15 minutes and I talked with just a few students at the foot of the Hill.  It seemed that our prayers banishing the demons from the Hill yesterday evening had some impact.  The wanna be prophet was not on campus to harangue me.  The students dressed as angels with wings to attempt to block out my preaching have not been out this year.  I miss them because their demonstration was a silent one.
Bro. Dean and Bro. Jed talking over battle strategies.
After 2 PM Richard and I decided to rejoin Cindy and Pat on the Mall.  Dean was in class until 2 PM.  Cindy had gathered an attentive crowd of about 25, including a few of the Hill people.  She did not have to experience any of the extreme heckling, which we have been exposed to all week.  We probably would have built up a sizable crowd on the mall; however, a group had the area reserved at 3 PM so we lost everyone.
The Secular Student Alliance gang was out with the Bro. Jed Bingo game.
Our whole team returned to the Hill.  By now some of the demons had returned through the Hare Krishna's, one of whom was beating on bongo drums.  Despite the distraction,  I preached again and gathered several; however, they dispersed after a short time.  I did have a good conversation concerning the spiritual realm with a young man until he had to leave for class.  Cindy reports that she had a long conversation with Nici, who had accompanied Dean this past Sunday for a visit with our friends in the desert, Kim and Nancy Jones.  She has been hanging around much of the week.
Bro. Richard who heard us as a student at the University of Minnesota, joined us for the week.  He has been ministering on campuses for 20 years. He kept the students' attention by telling Jesus' parables and asking questions about them.
One of the worst hecklers, who was lewd around Cindy yesterday, apologized to her after I called him on it today.  Another professing Christian heckler apologized to Cindy for his behavior last year.  The about 25 hecklers, who have been organizing against us all week, were relatively quiet today.
Nice Muslim student debates with Sis. Cindy. He could not grasp the need for the atonement of Jesus Christ.

Jessica, with whom I had a long talk earlier and one evening came over to the Saxton's house, informed me that I was getting through to a few students.  The sinners had promoted today as Penguin Day but whatever that was to be it amounted to nothing.  The hecklers set up a water slide on the Hill and for an hour or so they were preoccupied with that.  I was thinking today that there is little on a college campus to encourage maturity.  I fear that college has become more of a playground than an academic setting.
A Jewish girl, Jessica, reported to us that we were getting through to some of the students.

DIVIDE AND CONQUER
February 21, 2014, UA
We resorted to the old divide and conquer tactic again today.  Cindy and Dean started on the mall and Richard and I manned the Hill.  About 10 College Republicans soon showed up carrying signs in support of equal rights for gays; one sign even read, "Gay Old Party."  I used them as my foil and was able to gather some attention.  I was impressed when one of the gays said, "I don't think someone should have to serve me if they object to my homosexuality."
"Students, Jesus said that 'one thing is needful.' What was it?"  Bro. Richard got their attention with that question and then told the Bible story of Mary and Martha.
Soon the sinners turned on the amplified music and I did not care to complete with the racket, which ended at 1 PM.  However, it wasn't long before the jerk in a banana suit came over with a boom box to drown out the preaching with decadent music.  The sinners began some lewd dance.  I am convinced that those who are afflicted with mental disorders have been partly diseased by the depraved music that robs them of their peace of mind.
The Christian girl on the left, and her friends had quietly listened all week. Today they defended us and took a stand for the Gospel.
I chatted with my old friend, Kim Jones.  Eventually the boom box jerk left to harass Cindy on the mall.  Meanwhile, Sister Pat arrived on the Hill and she moved from student to student doing one-on-one witnessing.  She had the opportunity to talk with Mariah, the girl who was hurt on Monday, who softened up somewhat after conversing with her.  Pat also read six chapters of the Bible to a boy, whose hang up was the age of the earth.  I notice Sister Pat doesn't get into arguments over evolution with the students but typically just reads the Biblical account of Creation.  Probably, few students have ever read the first few chapters of Genesis.  Reading this story may do more good than all the arguments.  It is a moving and interesting history, much more so than anything ever written by evolutionists.  Few of these students have even read, "Origin of the Species."  They have merely read text books; most of which are dryer than the Texas wind.
"The Bible answers all of life's important questions."
After 2 PM, Richard, Kim and I decided to see how Cindy was doing.  After preaching two hours straight, she turned the crowd over to Dean.  She reports that the perverted College Republicans had also demonstrated in front of her, which helped to draw a crowd.  Cindy said to them, "We can take any help we can get against Obama; you are welcome in the Party, but you won't get into Heaven."  Cindy told me that she can't remember the last time she spoke for two hours straight.  She also had to deal with the banana jerk.  She just preached over his boom box.  She had good questions from the students, "How do we know the Bible is true, when men wrote it?"  Cindy explained, "When I was in college, I read the Bible and it answered all my questions about life and spoke accurately to the human condition."
"He that hath my commandments and keepth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my father. . ." John 14:21
Dean preached for almost two hours.  I was happy to let him deal with the banana jerk and other hecklers who arrived from the Hill.  Cindy and Dean had the vocal support of a black woman and a Hispanic woman.
Longtime friends Kim and Nancy Jones joined us at UA today. Sis. Nancy held Bro. Dean's sign for a long time.
A Jewish gentleman, who was visiting campus, introduced himself to me.  He remembered me from the early eighties when he was a student at the University of WisconSIN.  He recalled some of the lines which I am still using.  He was excited about seeing me and could not believe that I was still preaching.  He said, "I remember when Cindy first came to campus by herself.  The next year you both returned and you were married."  He had taken a picture of Cindy, which ended up in the Yearbook.  Cindy had inscribed the pictures writing, "Repent, you wretched sinner!"  He said that he was not a heckler.  He had first recognized Sister Pat when he passed by the Hill.  He said, "She has not changed in appearance.  I told the students Sister Pat is a legend up North."  He seemed serious about his Jewish heritage.  He wanted his picture taken with us to share with his old college friends.  Obviously, our ministry was one of his fond memories.  Many have said this to me over the years.
Bro. Dean had a great two-hour session on the mall.
A cigarette sucking professing Christian claimed that he loved God and God love him.  I started reading from John 14:21, "He that hath my commandments," I asked him to name the Ten Commandments.  He could only name the first.  I concluded, "You do not even know his commandments; how could you be keeping what you do not even know?  I finished reading the verse, "He that hath my commandments and keepth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my father. . ."
He said that I was taking the verse out of context.  I asked, "What is the context?"  He had no idea.  I answered, "If you do not know the context, how can you possibly conclude that I am taking the verse out of context?"
I proceeded to teach on the Ten Commandments.  I discovered of the 20 or so students only one could tell me another commandment, which was, "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife."  Unfortunately, years ago posting of the Ten Commandments in our government schools was declared unconstitutional.  So this churchless generation does not have a clue.
I finished the day conversing with the Secularists as they were taking down their tent.  They wished me good luck at ASU.

PREACHER OF THE YEAR
February 21, 2013, the evening
Dean Saxton's parents own one of the oldest mansions in Tucson, which they have been renovating for years.  They live in the house and rent rooms to students and other rooms as a hostel.  We have been their guest this week.  They have quite a ministry to students.  Weekly they provide free home-cooked meals for the students in their beautiful courtyard.  For the last three years I have attended these dinners.  Sixteen students showed up Friday night most, if not all of whom, are the Hill pranksters, who promoted the Jed Fest and have been disrupting the preaching all week.
From left to right: Sis. Cindy, Bro. Jed, Kim, Nancy, Sis. Pat, Bro. Dean and college girl. (she was being harassed by some of the hecklers so we are keeping her name out.) After Sunday dinner before the week of preaching.

One Catholic boy testified how he did not have friends in high school, but he found the Hill people accepted him.  He thanked me since I am the one who brought the Hill people together in the first place.  There used to be a group called the Hill Society, which met on the Hill but one of their leaders, Ryan, told me that they ceased meeting there, because all that the pranksters were about was sex.
Brothers who came over to Bro. Dean's on Sunday night to learn more about our campus ministry.  They were supportive and at least one joined us at the U of A.

Dean briefly exhorted each one of the pranksters by name to repentance.  Dean explained that he was like the abusive boyfriend.  Only he was doing the rebellious students a kindness by giving them a good Bible beating in order to stir them to turn from their wickedness.  It is remarkable that week after week Dean has a significant number of students come to his home to receive another thrashing with the Truth.  And they keep coming back for more.  Typically campus Christian groups are meeting with other believers.  Dean's home meetings are attended mostly by unbelievers and hypocrites.  They are strangely attracted to him.  Dean demonstrates patience and endurance in continuing to reach out to such people.  Dean surely deserved to be named Preach of the Year at the SOPA Conference held in Las Vegas at the close of 2013.
The Grand Finale: The Hill Heckler gang listened quietly to a teaching from Bro. Jed as well as an exhortation from Bro. Dean at his home on Friday night.

Cindy asked Dean to testify concerning how he kept his virginity.  He has never even been kissed at 23 years of age.  Dean gave much of the credit to his father, who warned him concerning seductive women out of Proverbs 7:  In the streets "there met a him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.  She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house."-vs 10-11.  Certainly, this is descriptive of so many girls at UA, who flaunt their flesh and are lacking in the meek and quiet spirit of a woman, who is pleasing to God.  Boys are victimized by these whorish women with their "fair speech and flattering lips."  Dean has learned to reprove these girls, thus he has been able to maintain his purity.   For one to maintain a holy life it is crucial to stay on the offensive.  The feminists have succeeded in keeping boys on the defensive.
Bro. Dean and his family have served food and shared the Gospel to thousands in their home over the last 20 years.

Cindy suggested I tell the other students present, who may have been ruined, as to how they can become born-again virgins.  I took the opportunity to preach how through the new-birth as taught by Jesus in John 3 we have a new character; we get our virtue back.  Of course, it is best never to have lost one's virtue.   But I fear all have at least lusted in their hearts.  Through the new birth one can become as pure as the driven snow.  I preached upon the death of Christ, who atoned for our sins and through his resurrection we may have the gift of eternal life.  I taught of the necessity to seek God with all of one's heart (will).  Students were quiet and listening to my 20 minute exhortation.
One of our worst hecklers, who claims to be a Christian and
Bro. Dean exhorted the 16 Hill Gang Hecklers who came for dinner to seek the face of God. They was no heckling that night.
even attends a weekly Bible study, said to Cindy, "Why doesn't Brother Jed speak like this every day, instead of talking about sorority girls?"
Cindy said, "The points that Brother Jed just made, he makes virtually every day.  However, you prevented him from speaking after this manner with all your mischief and blaspheme.  The blood of the students, who were not able to hear because of you, will be upon your hands."  Cindy further rebuked him sharply but he would not hear it.
Dean was able to minister to one of the gang with whom he prayed for salvation.  She had been fasting for three days seeking the Lord.  So the week began on Sunday with the girl accompanying Dean for our visit in the desert with our dear friends, Kim and Nancy Jones and ended Friday evening with her making a profession of faith.
