Saints,
Below you will find Bro. Jed's Fall 2013 schedule. Check it out and start praying.
Also, this summer we are working on fundraising for the new school year so pray about how you might want to contribute to our Campus Mission: 2013-2014.
In the meantime, enjoy the Week 19 journal and watch for the last two spring journals coming soon.

Thanks, Sis. Cindy

The following is my tentative schedule for the fall semester.  It should be noted that this is a tentative schedule and subject to change.  We have decided to spend more time commuting to the six campuses which are an easy drive from our new home in Terre Haute.  We urge our friends to join us this fall.  We have the room to house you during the time of outreach.  Notice we have targeted Sept. 19 as an open house for ISU or neighboring campus students.  We have used these open houses effectively at the University of Missouri.  When we visit your area, we also challenge you to unite with us on campus.  Notice I still have some Sundays open for speaking engagements in churches and I am always available for home fellowships as a teacher.  We also appreciate offers of hospitality for Sister Pat, Sister Cindy and I when we are on the road.  Bro. Jed

TOPNOT SO CRAZY
May 20, 2013, WWU
The Western Front, the student paper, wrote a favorable article on Friday:  http://www.westernfrontonline.net/news/article_0f4fe284-bef6-11e2-916a-0019bb30f31a.html#.UZZTDUGN4Zo.facebook
" I am glad you are back, Bro. Jed."
I have been staying low key and lowering my voice since whenever things get loud the police come out.  The less combative approach makes for less conflict but also a smaller audience.  Dylan showed up before I started with a sign which read, "Religion is poison."  Shortly after I started, Jimmy shook my hand and said, "I am glad you are back."  I made much of this talking about how good it was too feel appreciated and accepted.
I suppose I never had more than a dozen listening at one time.  Several students told me today that initially they thought I was "crazy," but they have since changed their minds.
"I won over a number of students today," Bro. Jed.
Late in the afternoon I was able to exhort 4-5 boys to boldly and aggressively confront sin and preach the Gospel.  They did not argue against any of my exhortations.  At one point the police came out and threatened to ticket Jan for getting too loud but he apologized and he was agreeable with the officers so they did not write him up.  I believe I have won over a number of students on this campus.  There are some regulars who have been hanging around for much of the day as I preach.  Things died out at 4 PM.

SIGN STOLEN
May 21, 2013, Central Washington University
The weather looked better at CWU so I drove two hours to preach in Ellensburg.  It was raining when I arrived at 11:30 so I decided to wait until the 12:50 break to start preaching.  The rain stopped by then but it was still cloudy and only in the fifties.
Students made up their own signs to counter Bro. Jed's signs.

My host gave me a TRUST JESUS sign so I wrote on the other side YOU DESERVE HELL.  The sign soon drew an audience several of whom claimed to be Christians but they hated the sign and approach.  A contentious female grabbed the sign out of my hands and ran off with it.  I tried to wrestle the sign from her hands but soon realized I would have to get too rough if I was to recover the sign so I let her have it.  It amazes me how the thought that men are deserving of Hell even shakes up the atheists who claim not to believe in God or life after death.  The fact that the sign so upsets believers and unbelievers alike demonstrates that all men know God exists and that there must be a Hell.  The Christians who claim to believe in Hell have too much pride to admit that they still deserve Hell.  They expect to be pardoned while continuing to sin.
"Even some of the Christians who claim to believe in Hell have too much pride to admit that we all deserve Hell," Bro. Jed.

The women were more stirred against me today than the men.  I was happy to turn the meeting over to Sister Angela when she arrived after 2 PM so she could deal with the females.  She soon had a Catholic girl in tears, who had been generally quiet and one of the few that had been positive towards my message.  The Catholic girl was boisterous for the rest of the afternoon.  The police monitored the meeting for a couple of hours.  They did not interfere except to ask me to move to the grass so that we would not block sidewalk traffic.  I left the meeting in Angela's capable hands at 5:20 to drive back to Seattle.

Today the females were much more angry with the preaching than the males.

"Every man's conscience tells him that there is a God and there must be a Hell," Bro. Jed.

WET AND WILD
May 22, 2013, University of Washington,
With the weather in the low sixties and wet I needed some signs, so this morning I purchased some poster board from Dollar Tree and made another YOU DESERVE HELL sign.  On the other side I wrote, JESUS SAVES.
Student claiming to be both male and female arrives.
I made another poster which read NO, NO HOMO on one side and on the other NO, NO LESBO.  Flashing these signs did draw a few people.  One was a boy who described himself as a church planter; he wore earrings and a fish tattoo on his arm.  Obviously, he was trying to relate to his generation.  He argued for relational evangelism.  I was gentle with him considering his immaturity.  I reminded him of Paul, who said, "I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus."-Gal 6:17.  Paul's scars of wounds received for Jesus' sake was

the evidence of his suffering on behalf of Christ and was a testimony to the world.  As we suffer in our bodies for the Lord's sake, some will see the spirit of Christ within us.  Some Christian boys claim they pierce their ears and wear earrings as a sign they are slaves to Christ.  Of course, Jesus got his piercings and marks the hard way.  Still I commended the boy for his zeal.  But he needs to man up.  I exhorted a young man who was "listening" to read the Bible.
I invited Fred Lusks to share his testimony to the listener.  Fred is a friend of Jan Ott.  Fred went to church all his life; however, he was constantly confronted with Christians, who told him he needed to be saved.  He started reading The Gospel According to St. John.  When he read of the blind man whom Jesus healed in John 9, Fred understood that he was the blind man in need of salvation. And the Spirit of God came upon Fred and he began to weep, confess and repent of his sins in his home without any instructions from men.  Now he could see!
Pink Panther is somewhat good-natured about Bro. Jed's rebukes.
At the 2:20 break three perverts walked up and took off their clothes down to their bikini underwear.  They stretched out on their back on the platform at my feet.  I assumed that they were homos; one of them claimed he was not.  Obviously, they were perverts of some sort.  Of course their nakedness drew a sizable crowd, a number of whom stayed with me for the rest of the afternoon.
Because of the perversion that prevails on campus many students are confused about their sexuality; therefore the need for "Sex Ed with Bro. Jed."

In this crowd was Dan, who confronted me last week on my doctrine of holiness.  He excused sin my quoting Romans 7.  I countered with passages from Romans 6 and 8.  We battled with Bible verses for about 15 minutes until I called upon Angela.  Later I talked with Dan personally to see if he could arrange a formal debate on the question of holiness.  He claimed that I had a low view of the law.  His view of the law was so high that it was impossible for a man to love God and love his neighbor.

"All we need is love," Pink Panther said.

genitalia, pranced around me for a couple of hours.  It wore a pink outfit and high heels and was wearing falsies.  Of course, the deviate just added to the drama.  Angel, as the person called him or herself, was good humored; I rebuked him for significant periods of time.
There were several atheists in the audience.  I informed them at the end of the day that I was once an atheist and I could argue for atheism much better than their vain attempts to deny the existence of God.

REACHING THE TOP
May 23, 2013, University of Washington
Today was another wet and cold day.  The temperature seemed to drop as the afternoon progressed.  After the first break, there were just a few people sitting around having lunch.  I have started something new over the last week.  When I notice that students are about to start eating without saying grace, I pray over the food for them.  A few have even thanked me for my prayer.  None have mocked me for doing this.
Sis. Angela was a faithful witness for Jesus Christ in the rain!
One of my fans, who specifically asked yesterday, if I would be on campus today, asked me to talk about fornication.  There were only about four listening; nevertheless, I decided to teach "Sex Ed with Brother Jed."  I have perfected this lecture and it is very funny.  Soon others who were sitting around started listening and I had an audience of 20 before I ended the lecture.  Then, of course, I open the class for questions about the birds and bees.  Eventually, the dialogue took a more philosophical turn.  I taught on the correct understanding of omniscience and omnipotence.   I defended the design argument for the existence of God.
At 2:45 I turned the meeting over to Sister Angela.   Meanwhile, a policewoman had arrived.  I took a restroom break.  When I came out of the restroom the policewoman and policeman, who had been monitoring my meetings daily at UW,
Today, a policeman acknowledged that although Bro. Jed was not breaking any law, "you are over the top."  The police came out because of numerous complaints.
met me outside the men's room.  They told me that the Chief of Police wanted to confer with me.  The Chief said, "There have been complaints against you which have reached the top.  I am here to confer on how you might continue you're preaching and not violate campus code of conduct."  He acknowledged that I was not breaking any law.  He was very diplomatic and I assumed from his countenance and choice of words that he was a Christian as seemed to be the case with the two officers.  He asked me more than once, "How can we work this out?"  One of the complaints was my sign, "No, No Homo" and "No, No Lesbo."  I suggested that I not display that sign anymore and I would attempt to be more sensitive.   That satisfied him so we shook hands and he gave his card.  I noticed that he is a Ph.D.
Sister Angela was still preaching when I went outside.  About 2:30 she turned the meeting back to me.  I had students around me until after 4 PM.  A number of them were professing Christians, who seemed supportive of my message.  A few questioned my approach.  I suggested they needed to learn from my example about confrontational evangelism.  I had an interchange with a political theory professor concerning private property, individual responsibility and limited government.  I also spent considerable time with him and others defending the doctrine of the Trinity.
Bro. Fred Lusk joined today's outreach and witnessed of the Truth to students on the sidelines.

Angela left campus about 3:30; Fred Lusk stayed with me until the end and he was able to witness to a number of students on the sidelines.  He was disappointed that he had brought some New Testaments with him but no one wanted one.  He said, "Most of the students just wanted to argue with me."  I encouraged him by saying they may well be receiving more than they are letting on.
Once again considering that bad preaching weather it was a relatively good day.  The complaints which reached the top were an indication that consciences were being pricked.  The sign which I had left, I had to trash since it was falling apart from the wet weather.

 Intimidating, Hostile and Offensive
May 24, 2013, UW
When I arrived two Seattle preachers with Bible message t-shirt and a banner had already occupied Red Square.  I introduced myself; they were familiar with my ministry and had watched some youtube videos of my preaching.  They started preaching a distance from me which would not be a distraction.  For more information concerning them visit:

When Bro. Jed arrived on campus a couple of Seattle preachers were already there with t-shirts and banners getting the job done!
I began at 12:20 with it still cloudy and cold.  I held hand a handmade poster, which read, "You are not chemically imbalance; you are a guilty sinner.  The other side read, "The problem is not depression; it is a lack of love."  I expected the sign to provoke a lot of opposition; however, no one really took issue with it.  One boy questioned me about it but he agreed that it made sense.  He said, "I could not follow a God who hates gays."  I answered God loves them enough to oppose their self-destructive and socially destructive behavior.
Is this 70-year old fellow really that "intimidating?"

He told me about a letter of the editor in the student paper, The Daily, which accused me of "hate-speech, discrimination and sexual harassment thus creating an intimidating, hostile, and offensive learning environment."  I suspect it was his complaints which brought out the Chief yesterday.  Meanwhile other students were gathering.  Before he left the boy who gave me the newspaper article said he was going to write a response defending my right to speak.
