Above is our video of the week. This was the end of the day, about 5:30, at Ball State in Muncie, Indiana,  It gives you an idea of the mentality of a "gay" male.  He had veggie tattoos on his legs.

ALCOHOL ENEMAS

October 1, IUPUI

Cindy quickly gathered 100 students. A Catholic boy walked up to me and said, "Other preachers have been on campus promoting the fear of God; this is a diverse campus; that will not go over here."

I quoted from Luke 12 where Jesus preached the fear of God.

"But that was Jesus," he retorted. "You are not Jesus."

I replied, "Are not we to eat of his flesh and drink of his blood?"

There is more to eating his flesh by taking the wafer and drinking his blood by consuming the wine. We are to minister as he ministered, walk as he walked and talk as the talked and suffer as he suffered.

Cindy had the students quite stirred by the time she called upon me. I warned the students about "butt chugging," which had been exposed in the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at the University of Tennessee. This is where the frat boys give one another beer enemas. One frat boy ended up in the hospital with dangerously high blood alcohol content. It seems that few of the students had heard of this case.   Nevertheless, a group of them cheered at the idea.

After 3 PM it started raining yet many students stood in the rain to hear Sister Pat. When I took over, a pervert, who I think was a girl dressed up as a boy, was able to get much of the crowd to move to another area to listen to her/him.   Students make their choices.   Earlier a Christian who interrupted me succeeded in drawing away much of my audience; he worked on starting an organization to protest the preachers; he was gathering signatures. Micah Armstrong had been here last week and caused no small stir.

Sister Cindy starts the meeting and interacts with one of the first hecklers of the day.

Cindy and Pat took two professing Christian girls, who were admitted fornicators aside for counsel. They acknowledged what they were doing was wrong. One of them was fornicating with a divorced man with two children.   The girls were not ready to repent but they did allow Cindy to pray over them.

Sister Pat had a long conversation with a Moslem who had read all the Koran and Bible. He admitted that he thought the Bible was the better book and that Jesus was the better way. However, he was fearful of the family consequences if he should convert.   In many parts of the world those who convert pay a much higher price than those who convert in America.

Students camp out for an afternoon of preaching and teaching.

While Sister Pat was speaking I had a group of 8-10 Christians around me who were open and several of them were supportive.   They were more thoughtful than the typical Christians on campus. We talked of Calvinism vs. Arminianism and open theism. One young man suggested that everyone read John Wesley's 52 sermons. I related to this student.

The police observed at a distance all afternoon.   Apparently, Micah was assaulted her last week. We left campus at 4:30 PM.

Four police officers on the right were there to keep order.
Pervert in the tie had adopted a child and was defending lesbianism as Sister Pat preached.
Bro. Jed had a great session with this group of professing Christians.
Rain came later in the day but the meeting continued. Sis. Pat and Sis. Cindy were under shelter counseling and finally praying with two "Christian" girls who confessed to fornication.

A FESTIVE TIME

October 2, 2012, Indiana University

"Brother Jed comes once a year; it is a festive time. I love it," said a coed as we were departing from campus at 5:35.

The day started slowly. When I arrived Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ) was in the area under the big red clock where I have been preaching for 39 years.   They had a hand made sign offering to pray for passing students.

Campus Crusade Prayer Table: They called the police in a futile attempt to stop our preaching.

There was not a large flow of traffic so I would preach as groups of students passed. Soon a puff from the Cru informed me, "We have this area reserved."   He was claiming a very large area.   I offered to give him a choice of what section they wanted to occupy, but he insisted that they had reserved the whole area and he said, "I am going to call the police. People might think that you are with us."

Mike Reed from Faith Tech in Michigan joined us for six days on campuses.  He did a great job of witnessing and served us by driving and by cooking the most delicious breakfasts. Thank you Bro. Mike.

Strangely, a school spirit group promoting homecoming with horns and bells was between us. Evidently, the reservation did not exclude them.   I eventually gathered about 10 students on this wet day. A fellow from the Church of Christ opposed me on the basis that people came out in the wilderness to see John the Baptist. He did not go to them. He claimed people came to Jesus; Jesus did not go to them.   Never mind that the Lord left Heaven to live among men. Adam, another professing Christian, claimed we all sin daily.

Bro. Mike mainly worked the sidelines but today at IU the crowd asked to hear from him.

Within 20 minutes two squad cars arrived with flashing lights. One would think that there was a big crime on campus. They jumped out of their cars as if they were going to take action against me. But they never approached me; they did talk with the puff from Cru, but never talked with me.

I preached for over an hour to about a dozen people about half of whom were professing Christians. I called on Cindy and she reasoned with them for another 20 minutes until there was a large class break. IU has one of the largest and longest flows of students of any campus where I have preached. The breaks seem to last about 20 minutes. Cindy preached to a crowd of 150. "Here a whore, there a whore, everywhere a whore, whore, whore," she cried. Then she rebuked the whoremongers. Many love to identify themselves as whores and whoremongers.

IU students raise their hands to admit to Sis. Cindy that they are drunkards.  Bragging about sins is commonplace.

At one point I walked by the Cru. I could not see that they were getting many prayer requests. I asked them to pray for me, "that God's Word would not return void but accomplish that which he pleases and prosper whereunto he sends it." One of them asked, "Are you preaching the whore counsel of God?" [As if they are!]. They never did pray for me, at least according to my knowledge.

A man introduced himself to me while Cindy was preaching, "I heard you preach at the University of Wisconsin in 1982. I am glad you are still at it."

Mike Reed from Lansing, MI, joined us today for the rest of the week. He faithfully held his signs and witnessed one on one or talked to small groups. At one point the crowd wanted to know what Mike had to say. He gave his testimony on how he had grown up in Catholicism but got involved in the drug scene of the 70's.

Cindy related the "true story" of HPV Holly.   Students mocked but at the end of the story a feminist interrupted and said, "May I say something? You were all laughing, but this is serious. There are a lot of men who are giving HPV to women and it can turn into cancer.   My friend recently had a big scare.   I am telling you that you should be careful. You guys need to make sure you get tested. And the women need to make sure the guys have been tested."

The students quieted down after the feminist's exhortation. Unfortunately, the best she could do was to tell the students to be careful.   Virtually no one, including their counselors, the Dean of Students, or health care professionals, is telling them that they should abstain until marriage. For that matter few ministers around campus are advising them to wait for marriage.

At the end of the day I expounded on Jeremiah 29:13, "And you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart." I had their quiet attention and I could see that some were pondering their path.   The devil could not put up with this, so he ordered two of his male minions to passionately kiss for over a minute. The crowd cheered; you would have thought that Indiana had just won the NCAA tournament. Numerous one's in the crowd, who were professing to be Christians and had been quoting Bible verses, cheered as loudly as everyone else.

The Cru puffs and the school spirit people left by 3 PM.   We preached in a drizzle for much of the afternoon.

OUR UNIVERSITIES, A TITANIC DISASTER

October 3, 2012, Ball State University,

Cindy remarked at dinner, "As Holy Hubert used to say, 'We stirred up a hornet's nest today.'"

The BSU Daily affirmed Cindy's assessment, "The North Quad was swarmed with students jeering and poking fun at a husband wife team. . ."

BSU requires paper work called a "request to demonstrate;" that coupled with a two hour drive from our hospitality cabin in Terre Haute resulted in not getting started until 12:50.

Sister Cindy stirs up a hornet's nest at Ball State.

I disturbed the nest as soon a hornet, who later identified himself as autistic, began raving against the injustices of God in sending people to Hell. After I explained that God built Hell for the same reason that our society builds prisons, he wanted to know why individuals could not get out of Hell at some point. I answered as miserable as they will be in Hell, they will not want Heaven either.   Much like many criminals who go to prison are repeat offenders and soon return. Seemingly they prefer the security of prison and the company of the depraved over the freedom and life outside the prison walls and the law abiding required to remaining free.

Homo on the left puts his sign in front of Sister Cindy.  She could out maneuver him so it was only a nuisance.  One of the several suicidal students is on the right.

The hornets were keeping their distance until I called upon Sister Cindy, who gave the nest a good strong whack with the Word. Resulting in wasps surrounding her with handmade signs, like "Keep your Rosaries off my Ovaries." [Strangely, males held this sign for much of the afternoon]. A flaming homo held a sign, "Pray to end Misogyny."

The "autistic" male confessed that he had contemplated suicide. Samuel also affirmed that he was suicidal as did a few others including a girl in shorts. I asked, "Why do you hate life so much? Suicide is a sin. It is self-murder." They all pleaded for the chemical imbalance theory. I answered, "Even if you could be tested to demonstrate a chemical imbalance, how do you know that it is not an effect of your depression whether than a cause.

Students intensify their protests and the police watch from the back.

Samuel eventually said, "I have heard enough; I am not listening to this anymore." He buzzed off. The girl in shorts admitted that she was diagnosed with depression at the same time she started masturbating. When people have no reasonable and Biblical hope beyond the grave and when they do not have a clue to the meaning of life, I can see why they would become depressed to the point of being suicidal. Faith, hope and charity are necessary for good mental health.   Skepticism, doubt, unbelief, and selfishness will sooner or later result in despair.

I explained that the first sin most people commit is that of dishonoring their parents. There disobedience results in mental unease (guilty conscience). Most people who are classified by psychiatrists as mentally ill are in that state of mental disease not as a result of a chemical imbalance but on account of un-confessed sin which results in guilt.   Guilt can weigh so heavily upon a person's mind that they can no longer stand to live. Judas is the prime example of guilt resulting in suicide.

Three mockers skip by.  Sometimes you have to laugh.

I counseled the disturbed students that they needed to get their minds renewed by presenting their bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God. Instead they are abusing their bodies, first  by self-masturbation then by mutual masturbation and other forms of uncleanness. Instead of being conformed to the ways of the world they needed to have their lives transformed through Jesus Christ, who would give them a peace of mind that surpasses all human understanding.

Mike Reed had a group of 10-15 around him for most of the afternoon. He had to deal largely with the Christians complaining about our approach.   At least two girls were in tears over our "unloving" method. The main crowd's numbers were around 50 to 100 for most of the afternoon.   We preached until 5:45. None of us were stung by the hornets.   Knowledgeable faith will prevent one from getting stung. Virtually all the students including the professing Christians have been poisoned by the sting of death, which is sin (1 Cor 15:56). When will Christians learn that that sin is deadly whether one professes faith or not?

"Present your bodies as a living sacrifice and Christ will renew your mind, students," Bro. Jed.

We sprayed can after can of Scriptures on the hornets for hours. It may take some time, but some will fall dead to sin and alive unto God as a result of us fumigating the North Quad.

Bro. Mike argued holiness and defended our approach to many who named the name of Christ.

In the evening we attended the touring theatrical production of "The Titanic, the Musical" at Emens Auditorium. Cindy remarked after the play, "I believe that it was definitely God's timing that we were at Ball State today. Numerous students, who heard us today, would have been reminded of our preaching because the Titanic brings out Godly themes as men are facing death. As the women and children were descending into the life boats and the men remained on the ship, they sang to one another:

We'll meet tomorrow
We will find a path
And reach tomorrow.
Past this day of wrath
We'll be together once again
Cling to your hope and prayers till then...

It is a wonderful thing to face death with hope. One needs hope to maintain an abundant life even in the midst of death and sorrow. Many on the Titanic faced death honorably. The Apostle John prophesied a day when, "The sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works."-Rev. 20:13.

Several of the girls were in tears because we were not preaching "love."   When will the Christians weep over the sins of this generation?

What a day that will be when the Titanic reemerges from the sea and those who drowned and those who survived will meet again to be judged by our Righteous God.

IS THERE A BETTER WAY TO ENGAGE THE STUDENTS?

October 4, 2012, Indiana State University,

Sister Cindy stayed at our hospitality cabin today; Sister Pat is in Philadelphia for a week. Mike and I attacked my alma mater with the Sword of the Spirit. Among the first ones to stop was a relatively meek girl who claimed, "No one goes to Hell; God forgive everyone." She said, "God even forgives Hitler."

Bro. Mike Reed confronts students with their sins!

It was not long before two policemen arrived but they kept their distance. Melissa, whom I meant and ministered unto a few years ago, suggested that she wanted to witness but was concerned that the students might try to get back at her in some way. I reminded her that we need to be prepared to forsake all and even lose our life for the cause of Christ. She said, "OK." She was ready for the battle. Later I called upon her to speak to the students, who constantly interrupted her. It was difficult for her to get her points across. But simply taking a stand is a powerful witness in and of itself.

"You have more students listening to you today than the Christian groups ever have," said Ryan, who just returned from teaching English in Korea.

As Melissa was speaking the Chi Alpha leader introduced himself to me. He objected to my approach.   His approach is to do good deeds for students. He suggested the relational method. I answered, "We can do both." I would have liked to talk to him more but I had to get back to the students. Later he gave me a note which said, "All I am asking is that you prayerfully consider your methodology. Is there a better way to engage these students? I am here every day: this is not helping ministries. Please pray about this. Your brother in Christ, Jason"

The students wanted me to read the note aloud. I did so. Later, I read it to Ryan who has just returned from teaching English in Korea. He has been around ISU for years. He said, "These are the same old complaints. You have more students listening to you today than the Christian groups ever have."

Jason appeared to be in his early to mid-thirties. I have been preaching longer than he has lived. Does he really believe that I have not prayed about my methods? Jason told Mike, "Brother Jed is destroying everything we have worked for. He is only here for a day and we have to undo everything he has done."

There were many professing Christians. All of whom were excusing sin. They seem to have the idea that since Jesus died for their sins that they can sin with impunity.

One girl, whom I warned was a candidate to become a lesbian, walked up and kissed a girl who was holding a sign which read, "Gay is awesome." She then announced that it was the first time she had kissed a girl and she liked it. Thus we see the scripture fulfilled, "The strength of sin is the law."-1 Cor 15:56. Many hear the law and they are even more determined to transgress it.   Obviously, the girl in her mind was attempting to spite me. The fact is she was determined to spite God. Later she told me she would kiss more girls when I returned.

Melissa is a graduate student who had encouraged us to change our schedule and preach at ISU today. She gave a witness to the students.

About 3:30 a policeman asked me to do him a favor.   I knew what he wanted; he wanted me to change locations since the crowd was blocking the sidewalk. I readily agreed and took over from Mike.   The students, who claim to be so turned off, followed me to the new location. Four policemen stayed for a while. One of them called Mike aside. He said, "What you are doing is a disgrace to Christianity. Your faith is being mocked and God is being mocked. Mike talked with him for a while and he came to an understanding of what we were doing.

At the end of the day a blatant homosexual who had been vocal in the crowd approached me personally and asked how I had become a Christian.   He seemed open to my testimony and agreed with my statements against homosexuality. He admitted that there was too much drama in the social and sexual interaction of homosexuals.

I know of no better way to engage students than to confront them over their sins.

MERE ENTERTAINMENT?

October 5, 2012, Indiana University

When we arrived today, I started preaching immediately because there was a class break. I had been speaking but a few minutes and a young man excused himself for interrupting me. He asked forgiveness for speaking so harshly to my wife when we were on campus Tuesday. He wanted me to relate the message to her. Cindy stayed home today to work on the website. She is learning how to manage www.brojed.org.

I gathered 20-25 students who were generally respectful and civil. Several notebook signers soon stood beside me. One sign read, "Satan is the Truth." Several fools passing by saw his sign and yelled, "Hail Satan!"   At the next class break the crowd built up to 100. I had a steady gathering of 50-100 for the rest of the afternoon. Mike Reed constantly had a group surrounding him. About 3 PM the temperature dropped dramatically and it started to rain; nevertheless, many listened through the showers and cold without an umbrella or warm clothing.

Bro. Jed preached without breaking today.   No pictures taken.

Students tried to convince Mike that the crowd was simply gathered for entertainment. Mike insisted that there was much more going on. They do not understand that the Holy Spirit has in fact arrested their attention. They could go into a warm and dry building and watch TV if they merely wanted to be entertained. Of course, the Holy Ghost has taught us how to express Biblical and theological truths in an entertaining fashion.

I hammered away at selfishness being the root of all sin.   We need to pull up sin by its roots instead of merely chopping at the weeds in their miserable lives.   Love is the root of all righteousness. When men turn from their self-centeredness and choose to live benevolently, they have conquered sin. Of course, as always, I heard pleas that sin cannot be overcome in this life.

By 4 PM the rain had become steady. I decided it was time to call it a day.

Fall Semester 2012
This is my tentative schedule for the Fall Semester 2012. There are so many campuses and so little time. Should anyone want to arrange a church or home meeting while I am in your area please contact me. Also, let me know if you are interested in scheduling formal debates with atheists, Muslims, or Christians, who disagree with my message or methods. One student leader recently contacted me that he wanted me to speak to the Young Republicans on limited government and free markets. I am still open to changes. I will be doing my tour of the Southwest and California in the Spring Semester 2013. Sister Cindy and Sister Pat will be accompanying me full time this year.  Any Christians, who are interested in joining us on the road for a while, or who want to meet us on campuses in your area, are welcome.  Remember to pray for the campuses that we have already preached on.  Bro.
