To the Norcross First Family,

As you may know, it has been announced that May 22, 2016, will be Dr. Jody Alderman's last Sunday in the pulpit as Senior Pastor of Norcross First United Methodist Church. Jody's new appointment will be Senior Pastor at St. John United Methodist Church in Augusta, GA. We certainly have been blessed by Jody's leadership as he has been instrumental in transforming our church and spearheading some difficult but needed changes. While it is sometimes hard to understand, we believe that God's timing is perfect. As we approach the end of Jody's time here, we know you will want to share with him your love and appreciation for all he has meant to the church and each of us personally.

There will be a reception in the Family Life Center for Jody and Debye after the 11:00 am service on Sunday, May 22. At the reception we will be presenting to Jody notes, letters, and cards expressing our love and gratitude for his ministry here. Please send your notes, letters, or cards to the church to the attention of Rev. Terri Hoye or you may bring them with you on that day.

We would also like for you to have the opportunity to give Jody and his family a monetary gift. If you would like to participate in such a gift, please give cash or make a check payable to Jody Alderman. This money is a personal gift and therefore is not tax deductible. A total amount will be deposited into Jody's personal account, and he will be given a list of all the participants' names, but not the individual amounts of each gift. Please give the gift directly to Nancy Garrison (Financial Administrator) or place it in the offering plate by May 15.

Finally, we ask you to pray for Jody and Debye as they move to Augusta. We have been blessed to have them as part of our Norcross family and trust the Lord will continue to bless them. See you on the 22nd!
