MBOT Appoints New President & CEO

 
Mississauga, Ontario (September 2, 2015) Mississauga Board of Trade (MBOT) is pleased to announce the appointment of David Wojcik as their new President & CEO. He will assume office on Tuesday, September 8, 2015.


 

"We welcome David's extensive experience and demonstrated leadership within the Mississauga business community," said the 2015 MBOT Chair, Jeffrey Percival of PallettValo LLP. "David is well-known to our members and he has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to the Board of Trade, its membership programs and business development. We heartily look forward to working with him as the dynamic new leader of MBOT."
 
An entrepreneur and business leader with more than 25 years of finance, sales and management experience, David served previously in an advisory capacity to the Board of Directors, committee chair for the Growth & Power Series for executives and CEOs and has previously been instrumental in helping to shape MBOT's membership programs as Business Development Manager.

"It is with unbridled enthusiasm that I assume the office of President & CEO of our Mississauga Board of Trade. I have had the great pleasure of being part of MBOT as a member, committee chair and Manager in the past. Now serving as your CEO, I look forward to growing MBOT to new heights," said David. "I would particularly like to thank the MBOT staff, who has always excelled in serving our members and who has certainly risen to the occasion while the Board searched thoroughly for a new CEO. I am especially excited to work with the entire MBOT team on a day-to-day basis again."
