Springtime in the Rockies!

Yes it is and you know what that means - kittens, kittens and more KITTENS!

We are waist high in adorable cuteness and ever so thankful for our foster families and their unending commitment to caring for our littlest furballs.

The good news is that our adoptions are going really well. During the first 3 months of 2015, we were able to find the purrfect families for 23 cats and 44 kittens! And our adoption rates stayed high for the month of April as well.

Even so, we could always benefit from more loving homes and foster families to assist us in raising healthy, happy, socialized kittens.

Sound like a good fit? If you would like more information please go to our website at  Thanks!

Good MEWS!!
Latest rescue news

Several of our longtime sanctuary residents found their furrever homes so far this year!

These lucky felines included Ogden, Salida,  and Solomon and Reeve (who had been with us the longest) shown here relaxing with their Mom and enjoying some play time.

We are so very thankful for their new families and wish them all purrs and happiness.

Thank You MELINDA!
We appreciate you so much!

Melinda Reichal is focusing on our sanctuary as the newly-appointed Sanctuary Manager and Volunteer Coordinator.

She is already hard at work improving the sanctuary by organizing and straightening up!

She is ensuring all the cats at our rescue facility are well cared for and kept up on all their vet care. She also sends out notes on special needs kitties to make sure that everyone is kept on the same page.

She has started a volunteer of the month program, and helps keep all the volunteers aware of what is happening with Wild Blue. Thanks Melinda!

Build Your Cat Catio!
Summer is coming!

Summer will be here soon and just like you - your cats can't wait to get outside in the warm sun and feel the grass beneath their toes.

But it can be a scary world outside - so why not build your cat their own outdoor enclosure - a catio!

Catios allow cats to enjoy the great outdoors while also keeping them safe from vehicles, other dogs and cats, predators, and even possible exposure to disease.

Here's some handy information on building your own catio for your kitty:

Michelson Found Animals
Saving Pets Challenge

Wild Blue is participating in the Michelson Found Animals' Saving Pets Challenge 2015.

This year our goal is to raise $5,000 to go toward our 'Fix Feline Families' spay/neuter program!  It's May and we already have close to 100 kittens, some with Mamas, in our system!

The campaign runs until Friday, June 5th at 12noon Mountain (2pm ET) and to give back, the organizers will  be donating over $115,000 to organizations benefiting animal welfare and dedicated to decreasing shelter pet euthanasia.

The organization that raises the most during the Challenge will get a $50,000 donation to their cause. Second place gets $20,000, third gets $10,000, fourth gets $7500 and fifth place gets a $5000 donation.

Please donate now what you can to our cause, please. Click here!

Your support will make a huge impact in our chances to win the $50,000 grand prize so the more you can give the better. Your support is truly appreciated and we will keep you posted on our progress!

Great news! Thanks to Dr Elsey's Precious Cat litter - new Wild Blue adopters will now receive a free bag of litter and coupon packs/litter guides. We very much appreciate their support! Find out more about their products at
