Please join us in June for our new season of fresh, local and organic produce through the JEWISH LOCAL GREENS CSA. You might have heard that we have made a few changes. We are always trying to improve our process to best support our members and our hard working farmers.

Note: if you have ever been a JLG member and paid your initial $50 registration fee, you won't have to pay it again to rejoin.

  • This year, we will be picking up at Beth David Synagogue located off of Farmington Avenue in West Hartford. There is easy access to parking and a large in-door space for us to use.
  • Last year we added a share option for those who didn't want to purchase a large weekly share of veggies. For those who wanted a smaller quantity or who wanted to pick up less often, we created a choice between Every Week Shares or Every Other Week Shares. This also made our pick up process much quicker and even resulted in needing fewer volunteers at the pick up site. Of course, many people still opted to pick up a share each week and even to split that share among friends.
  • Lastly, we made electronic registration available through our website.

We continue to offer delicious homemade kosher pickled products and jams. Our farmers are available for tastings and farmers markets for most any occasion. Let us know if you are holding an event at your synagogue or in your community and would like to have them participate. It's fun for you and great publicity for our CSA.
