United Girls' Choir Concert
Saturday, May 7
7:30 PM in our Sanctuary

We continue our annual tradition of hosting one of Connecticut's fastest growing youth choirs.  Come and hear the girls in concert singing a variety of music.  Bring a friend!

The girls will also be sharing their gift of song during worship on May 8.

Part of hosting the choir is feeding them too! There is still time to donate: Lasagna (frozen is fine), salad, bread, brownies or ice cream.   Please email Susan Buck (office@harvardmaucc.org)  and let her know what you are bringing.  Donations can be left at the church Friday or Saturday.  Lasagna should be cooked.

Celebrating our graduating Seniors diploma_grad_cap.jpg

Our June 5 worship will include a celebration of our graduating Senior Class. As in years past, we would like to present these students with cards and notes from our congregation. These can be placed in labeled gift bags that will soon be available in the copier room, or you may drop them at the church office.
This year we have three graduating senior in our congregation;  John Czekanski, Michael Czekanski, and Jonathan Schmidt.

The Year of The Monkey
Church Auction
June 18, 6- 9 pm

Our auction is quickly approaching and plans for the fundraiser are progressing nicely.  However, more items are needed for both the silent auction and the live auction.
Please take a minute to look around your house for items that you may no longer treasure, but that someone else might love! Brainstorm ideas for services to offer or vacation homes. In short, anything that might be "biddable"!

Donations can be left at the church at your earliest convenience.  If you have questions, contact Susan Barber or Pat Jennings.  Thank you for your generosity

Christian Education Committee

The Christian Education Committee has not only been busily planning the last month of classes, but we have started looking at next year.  As we play with class sizes and configurations, it is becoming more and more obvious that we need more teachers in all grade levels (up through Middle School).   We welcome parents of Sunday school children to help out in the classroom, but we also welcome "non-parents"!
We will be using a new curriculum in the fall.  No special "church" knowledge is needed; the lesson plans are thorough and a sample can be made available.

Please take a moment to consider lending a hand!
