Easter Vigil (March 26 @ 6PM-March 27 @6 AM)
This is a quiet time to reflect on the season of Lent and the joy of The Resurrection.  The idea is to have someone in the Sanctuary all night. However, if you feel moved to come to the sanctuary to wait, you are welcome any time without signing up.  A Deacon will have the sign up sheet on Sunday mornings or you may call the church office (978-456-8788).

Chip Hurd Ecclesiastical Council
 April 6th @ 7 pm

Our former student pastor, Chip Hurd, is at the last hurdle before becoming an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ.  The Ecclesiastical Council is basically an oral examination by the members of the Association.  How he answers the questions set before him that day will determine his fitness for ministry in the United Church of Christ.

Chip's Ecclesiastical Council is being held in our sanctuary on Wednesday, April 6th at 7 PM.  The Board of Deacons invites you to be present for this important day in Chip's life, and in the life of the church.

Here is how you can participate:
1.         Simply come and watch the proceedings and support him with your presence.
2.         Help organize or contribute some food to a reception which will be held afterward.
3.         Read his ordination paper and come ask questions.  In a few days we will send you a copy of his ordination paper (which tells a bit about what he believes).

Presuming Chip passes this exam his ordination will be held on September 18th at First Congregational Church in West Boylston where he has been working for the past four years.

PUT ON YOUR DANCING SHOES! street_dance.jpg

On Saturday, April 9th, the church band will be performing music for your dancing pleasure.  We have learned 30 new songs from the 50's through the 90's.
There will be food, beverages (byow/b) and a lot of dancing!  Get a babysitter (we have plenty of young people in the church who can help), invite a friend, and join us for a  great night of fun in our Fellowship Hall.

We will be accepting donations towards the church mortgage.

The party begins at 7.  Call the church office if you have any questions.
