Pizza Lunch Orders
2016-2017
Order forms for Pizza Lunch Pizza pic will be coming in the mail with the Forms Packet.

This year we will serve
Papa John's Pizza
at $2.00 per slice.
We will be offering cheese, pepperoni, sausage,
gluten free cheese and
gluten free pepperoni pizza. 

Pizza lunch is served one Thursday per month with the exception of when it is served on the Friday Field Days. The first Pizza Day of the school year will be on
Field Day, 
Friday, September 16.


Proceeds help defray the student cost of the Junior/Senior Spring Formal.

New Parent Orientation and Luncheon 

A Parents Only Event -  for parents of new students

 

Saturday, August 20, 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon

This is an event for parents of 6th and 7th graders and parents of new students in grades 8-11.  

The morning will begin with a welcome and introduction by our Headmaster, Mr. Jon Balsbaugh. The focus of the morning is to explain the various facets of Trinity School academics and student life. Parents will meet faculty, staff, as well as new and veteran parents. This will be a great opportunity to answer your questions. 

It is important that at least one parent attend this event.  

We will finish with lunch together at 11:30 a.m.

  • For all NEW students, grades 6-11.
  • Uniforms are not required.     
  • Forms Drop-Off and Books & Fees Payment      from 9:00 a.m. - 12 noon

      Wednesday, August 24, 9:00 a.m. - 12 noon
  • For ALL students - returning and new. 
  • New students are to attend both orientation days. 
  • Uniforms are required.

Student Parking Permits
Trinity School requires all students parking parking permit sign

a  motor vehicle in the school parking lot to have a parking permit. The permits are issued after the completion of the

Parking Permit Application.  Applications are also available from Mrs. Gaworski at the receptionist desk. Please return completed parking permit forms by Tuesday, September 6.

Forms Collection 2016-2017
Return forms before August 25 or
during Special Forms Collections Days,
Tuesday, August 23 or Wednesday, August 24

In August, each family will be mailed the following:

  • Books and fees invoice 
  • School forms packet
    Please carefully review the preprinted family information and write in any corrections directly on the forms.                                     Please remember to sign each form.          
  • Pizza Order form
  • Spirit Wear T-shirt order form
  • Junior Laptop information (sent only to parents and guardians of juniors)
Books and fees payments and completed forms are to be returned to the Trinity School Business Office before August 25 or in the Commons during the special Forms Drop-Off and Books & Fees Payment Days on August 23 or 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. 
 
The deadline for returning all school forms and book and fees payments is on the first day of classes, 
Thursday, August 25.

We thank you in advance for returning your forms and payments promptly.
 
2016-2017 School Supplies List
The 2016-2017 school supplies list is available on the Trinity School website. Please see supplies.
Additional information will be sent to parents of
6th graders.

Academic Planners  

Note: Trinity School will be providing each student with an academic planner so parents do not need to purchase one. Students will receive the planners at the New Student Orientation on August 23 or the All Student Orientation on August 24.
  • Included within the planner is the Trinity School student handbook. It contains information on student responsibilities.  Students should read the handbook carefully. Page 23 contains the Handbook/Student Honor Code. Students will be required to sign and return this page to the school office by 
    Friday, September 9.
    Parents of new students will also need to sign this page.
  • Students will use the planner section to record homework assignments. 
Lockers at Trinity School

Student Lockers: 

All books, bags, binders, notebooks, coats etc. must be kept inside the student's locker. Please consider this when making purchases. If students decorate the interior of their lockers, we prefer that they use magnets.
Please avoid tape.

 

Lockers at Trinity School are narrow. They measure 16½ inches deep and 11¾ inches wide. The locker opening is only 8½ inches wide. Take this into consideration when purchasing locker shelves.

 

Athletic Lockers:   

Each student athlete will be assigned an athletic locker  during the start of each sports season. All athletic clothing, towels and bags must be placed in the athletic locker. The athletic locker rooms are open before and after school and are locked from 8:10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Parents of all 6-12th grade students are invited to attend   

Thursday, September 8, at 7:30 p.m.

 

At this meeting Trinity School's headmaster, Mr. Jon Balsbaugh, will address the parents and talk about the new school year. In addition, parents will have an opportunity to review their child's schedule, attend presentations and receive information on the Parent Service Association (PSA).

Auditions for Extracurricular Music Groups

  • Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble - Auditions for new members are Monday, August 22. Parents should contact Mrs. Karen Edge for an audition time at 651.263.0363 (voice or text) or at karenedge@comcast.net .
  • Chamber Singers auditions are Wednesday, August 31 at 4:30 p.m.  More details will be announced during Morning Prayer. Contact Mr. Jacob Flaherty at jflaherty@trinityschools.org with questions.
  • String Ensemble - Auditions for String Ensemble will be on Wednesday, September 7 at 3:15 p.m. in Room 202. New and returning students should be prepared to play a scale and piece of their choice. Please contact Mrs. Laura Handler,    lhandler@mninter.net with questions.
