Oral Exams
May 31- June 3
The week of oral exams is considered a part of the regular school year and all students in grades 7-12 are expected to attend at their scheduled times.  Exams will be scheduled at various times during the following days: May 31-June 3

Exam schedules were mailed to parents in May. 
 
--- Students must be in uniform for oral exams ---
  • 7th & 8th Grade Oral Exams
are administered individually to students and last approximately 45 minutes. Each exam covers all subject areas taught over the course of the year. 
  • 9th-12th Grade Exams
will be in two parts:
    • An individual Humane Letters exam lasting approximately one hour
    • Science or Math Orals are shown below:

Students have received information about how to prepare for the oral exams during the last week of classes.
 
Parents received exam schedules in the mail in early May.
 

Stanford Testing
Monday & Tuesday, June 6 & 7
Required for 7th, 8th & 9th grade students

Students should come dressed in uniform.

Students should arrive at 8:15 a.m. Testing begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m. 

  • Students with last names A-K should report             Monday,  June 6.
  • Students with last names L-Z should report         Tuesday, June 7. Taking test

 

Evaluations
Monday-Thursday, June 6-9
The year-end Evaluations are an opportunity for parents to meet with teachers about their child's performance during the second semester. A letter with the assigned time slot for the evaluation was mailed in May.

Reminder: Please arrive one-half hour before
your assigned time so that you can read the teachers' written evaluation materials.

 

Junior & Senior Evaluations

Junior and Senior students should attend the evaluation session with their parents. These students should come dressed appropriately.  Junior and Senior boys should wear a shirt and tie and dress pants.  Junior and Senior girls should wear a dress or blouse, with skirt, or dress pants.  

 

Lost and Found

Please stop by the Lost and Found tables in the Trinity School lobby to claim items your child may have left at school.  Unclaimed items will be donated to charity after June 13. 

Faculty Meals during Evaluations Week
Monday-Thursday, June 6-9
Trinity parents will be providing meals and snacks for the faculty during the Evaluation Week. If you would like to meal help please click on the link below:

The day after you provide the meal, please remember to pick up your crock pots, platters, bowls and utensils. Unclaimed items will be donated to charity after Wednesday, June 15. 
 
 
Trinity School Commencement
Saturday, June 11, 1:00 p.m. 
Trinity School at River Ridge will hold its commencement ceremony on Saturday, June 11, at 1:00 p.m. This year's commencement speaker is Dr. Michael J. Naughton, Director of the University of St. Thomas's Center for Catholic Studies. The invocation will be delivered by Deacon Joseph Michalak, director of Diaconate Formation for the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.

Seating at the commencement is limited. Families of graduating seniors will be assigned five premium seats in the bottom tier of the auditorium. Graduates needing more seats will be given a chance to reserve five additional seats in the second tier of the auditorium. Additional family members, guests and friends who wish to attend may be seated in the rear of the auditorium.

National Merit Scholarship Winners
Congratulations to the Trinity School seniors who have been selected to receive National Merit Scholarships. The scholarship competition is based on top scores in the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) taken during the fall of junior year and scholarship application materials submitted to the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Tuition Payments for 2016-2017  

This is a reminder that tuition payments for the 2016-2017 school year begin in July per the tuition agreement. Those paying the school directly will be invoiced in late June. FACTS payments will appear as an automatic debit to your bank account. Please note that all tuition deposits have been applied to the tuition balance and will reduce your scheduled payments accordingly.

UNIFORM GUIDELINES 

 

Used Uniform Sale  

Trinity School Media Center

Thursday, June 16, 4:00-7:00 p.m.

 

If you have used uniforms to donate for the sale, please make sure each item is in good, clean condition. Torn or overly worn uniforms will not be sold. The uniforms must be brought to Mrs. Cherlyn Gaworski at the Trinity reception desk by Friday, June 10.

  • All prices for the sale are pre-set and will be posted.
  • Proceeds from donated items will benefit Trinity School.
  • Used uniform items that do not sell will be held for next year's sale.
"Swapping" items is welcome; however it MUST be for like item (pants for pants, shirts for shirts, etc.)

2016-2017 School Supplies List
The 2016-2017 school supplies list is still in process due to the addition of the 6th grade. Just to give you an idea of needed school supplies, please refer to last year's list that is available on the website under Supplies.
The 2016-2017 supplies list will be posted on the website as soon as it is available.

Note: Trinity School will provide each student with  a handbook/planner for use in recording homework assignments.
Students will receive the planners during orientations on August 23 or August 24.
2016-2017 School Forms
In August, each family will be mailed
book bills and school forms. Forms and book bill payments may be returned on or before
August 23 or August 24.

Address Changes
Please notify us of any change in mailing address so that you may receive the forms in a timely fashion. Email address changes to:

2016-2017 Athletic Forms due July 21
ALL student athletes in grades six through twelve participating in FALL, WINTER or SPRING sports are required to complete NEW athletic forms each academic school year before attending any athletic practice or try-out.
