PTSA General Meeting Speaker on 1/28
Ron Hertel
Program Supervisor for Student Mental Health and Wellbeing
Program Director of Compassionate Schools
Student Support
Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction
Mr. Hertel will help us understand the need for more thoughtful consideration of our children's mental health and psychological wellness in the contemporary school systems. Ron has helped WA state procure a multimillion dollar grant to create better programming that will ultimately lead to greater socio-emotional skills training in our Washington schools, and put our state out in front as a beacon to the rest of the nation. Come hear him speak of the vision he and others have to help our children find, not only, standard academic training in our schools, but also standard psychological wellness skills training that will make them more satisfied in their future lives.
