Pasadena Pursuit is an exhibition curated by Dan McLaughlin, author of Pasadena History Headline Quiz (2013). For over 125 years, Pasadena's newspapers have been documenting its rich and varied history. This interactive exhibit, drawn from the headlines of local newspapers, will challenge, inform, and engage you. The exhibit was designed as a three-dimensional game board for you to test your knowledge of local history in categories such as: Sports, Entertainment, People & Community, Crime & Punishment, and Children.

Mystery History
Willis Stork Gallery
Opens January 30, 2015
Mystery History, curated by Ann Erdman, is a fun and engaging exhibition that includes historic photographs, artworks, and artifacts from PMH's extensive collection. Inspired by the popular Mystery Historyâ„¢ series on her blog, Erdman challenges visitors to identify the location and historical significance of the photos, which are complemented by rarely seen historic objects directly associated with them, including the mysteriously named Million Dollar Piano.
Mystery History is made possible in part by the Pasadena Arts & Culture Commission and the City of Pasadena Cultural Affairs Division.
Pasadena Pursuit and Mystery History are designed to engage adults and children alike, and will have youth-specific components for younger history detectives. Everyone viewing the exhibits may enter a random drawing to win a weekly prize, as well as a grand prize to be awarded to one lucky visitor at the close of the exhibitions.
PMH Members will be invited to the fun-filled February 6 opening for both exhibitions. Also, don't forget to come view our current exhibition, Contemporary Masters, Artistic Eden IV before it closes on January 11!
