2014 Annual Dues Invoices Will Be Posted Online Tomorrow, October 1
Your 2014 GCAAR Annual Dues invoice will be posted on www.gcaar.com on Tuesday, October 1. The due date is Saturday, November 30, 2013. Unlike MRIS, GCAAR does not keep credit card information on file; all payment account details must be submitted each billing cycle. GCAAR accepts all major credit cards (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa), personal/corporate checks, and money orders.GCAAR does not accept cash payments for dues.
GCAAR does not mail invoices unless requested by emailing membershiprecords@gcaar.com. You may submit payment online, by mail, by fax, or at any of our three locations. Our Rockville location is open on some most Saturdays. Please check our website for locations and hours. GCAAR does not accept payment over the phone.

HUD Delays Short Sale Agency Proposal
An FHA policy to prohibit dual agency in short sales and other pre-foreclosure transactions has been delayed at NAR's request to allow federal officials to address industry concerns. The policy was slated to begin on October 1 and would have restricted agents from a single real estate brokerage from working on the listing and selling sides of a transaction that requires FHA approval.
