Inclement Weather Policy
Due to the possibility of snow on Wednesday, March 6, please be aware of GCAAR's inclement weather policy. If Montgomery County schools are closed, all GCAAR classes will be cancelled. If the schools are on a delayed opening schedule, GCAAR morning classes will begin at 10 o'clock. Afternoon classes will be held as scheduled. GCAAR will gladly refund your registration fee if you are unable to attend a scheduled class due to extreme weather conditions. If you are concerned an event might be cancelled, please contact GCAAR's main line at 301-590-2000 for any updates or go to www.gcaar.com.

On Thursday, March 7 at 7:00 p.m., the Montgomery Planning Board will hold a public session to hear testimony about the proposed zone implementation. The staff report explains the implementation and includes information about:

Dream Makers Helps Military Families Afford Their First Home
A growing number of service members and veterans bought their first home with the help of PenFed Foundation's Dream Makers program. The program is funded by private donations from individuals and corporations, and awarded its first grant in 2007. Last year, the PenFed Foundation program awarded 168 grants for a total of $823,000.
