Answers to Often Asked Bread Issues?
A common bread question....
My Bread always comes out of the oven flat!!
Really this is easily solved! Your bread rises and looks beautiful going into the oven. Then, you go back to get the bread out of the oven to find the loaf has fallen! Thi is what I call a 'sinker.'
The answer is simple...put your rising bread into the oven sooner! How do you know when to put your rising bread in the oven? As it is rising, simply lightly touch the side of the bread. If the bread dough springs out, let it rise a little more; when the side of the bread dough stays indented as you lightly touch the side of the bread dough, put it in the oven.
It is better to err on not letting the bread rise enough rather than letting it rise too much. If the bread dough didn't rise enough, you will have a stretch marks/cracks along the side of the bread. This is not a problem but just does not look as pretty.
What do you do if you forget, like I often do, that the bread is rising and now it is over risen? Simply punch it down and reform the dough into the loaf pan and let it rise again.
What do you do if you have 'sinker' bread on your hands? Have squatty sandwiches, which we have done; or you can make whole wheat croutons; or you can make it into homemade whole wheat bread crumbs.
Did you know that making bread with the Basic Bread Recipe only costs $1 a loaf!! If your family eats only 3 to 4 loaves a week, you just bought a Bosch Universal mixer with the money you save by ONLY making bread in less than SIX months!! This same bread at the health food store is $5.25 a loaf! You can do soooo much with the Bosch Universal Mixer and save a ton of money at the same time!

Grilled Pizza Anyone?!
The secret is in the presentation of the bread dough. This is just another way to change your simple bread dough into a fabulous meal...dessert...appetizer!
Step One: Make mini pizzas with your bread dough. You could be make it fun by throwing it in the air but I would probably miss and it lands on the floor. My suggestion is using the Pizza Roller and roll out 7" to 8" in diameter pizza dough about 3/4" thickness.
Step Two: Brush both sides with olive oil and place on your hot grill. The pizza dough grills/cooks fast! When the dough is browned on one side; flip it to the other side and grill that side as well. Step Three: Spread pizza sauce on the grilled pizza and then put your favorite pizza toppings on your mini, grilled pizza. Top with grated cheese. Serve. You could do all the steps right by your grill but I find it more cumbersome to take all my ingredients outside to my grill. Thus, I only grill the bread; then, bring my grilled pizza dough inside to finish the pizzas.
Did I tell you that I LOVE my Bosch Universal Mixer? Eating Grilled Pizza is yet another reason how the Bosch Mixer makes my dinner preparations so easy!

Recipes for your garden tomatoes!
Blender Salsa!
6 Tomatoes chopped 1/2 large onion diced 2 small garlic cloves crushed 1 red, yellow and orange bell pepper 2 handfuls chopped cilantro diced* juice from 1/2 a lime Blend all in your Bosch Blender. 4 large green onions finely chopped
1 1/2 tsp lime juice (this keeps the avocado from browning)

1 1/2 parsley paste
1 tsp creole
1/2 tsp garlic
1/8 tsp crushed red pepper

Place all ingredients in your Bosch Blender. Mix and it is ready to serve. *You can use the above salsa recipe to turn it into a cheese salsa. :)

Tips for the Harried Woman
How time has flown! I remember hearing people tell me they had been married for 10 years....25 years, and thought they must have one foot in the grave! Wow! My hubby and I just celebrated our 33 year anniversary! I don't really feel like I have one foot in the grave so I don't know where that idea came from. :)
One thing I do know is that I am not the same person nor my hubby the same person that we married those many years ago. How time has changed us and for the good. I heard a statement: "The most important thing in life is not the things you accumulate, but what you become!"
I am grateful that God has used the knocks of life to hone both my hubby and I over these past 33 years to become more laid back in life and to enjoy the simple things of life.
We have learned to turn to God instead of relying on our strength. We learned how fallible and weak we really are. Hard lessons but definitely changed...for the good.
Thank you to my hubby for growing old with me. :)

Encouraging Words
by A Love Worth Giving
"Our love depends on the receiver of the love. Let a thousand people pass before us, and we will not feel the same about each. Even when we find a few people we like, our feelings will fluctuate. How they treat us will affect how we love them. The receiver regulates our love.
Not so with the love of God. We have no thermostatic impact on what He finds in us. His love is uncaused and spontaneous. Does He love us because of our goodness? Because of our kindness? Because of our great faith? No, He loves us because of HIS goodness, kindness and great faith."
