Together.
Shaping the future of roadway safety.
September 1, 2015
- In this edition we have added a new feature to help you identify and select all the data sessions graphically using the map area.
New Data Session Selection Tool - You can now find and select all your data sessions right from the Google Map area. From the Data Sessions tab, you click on the map area to cast a 'Net'. One click for each of the two corners of a net will display a square on the map. This action will automatically select all your data sessions that have a data point within the boundaries of that net. The selection can be viewed and filtered in the header list of data sessions. Learn More
Added Tool Tips on Data Session Selection - You can now identify a specific selection data session right from the map area. You need to switch to "Show Data Points", which requires a sufficiently narrow zoom level and may render a little slower. Float the pointed over a point and pause over it. A tool tip will display the lat/long point and the data session file from which the point is associated. Learn More

Select All
You may have noticed that the 'Select All' option has been removed. Selecting hundreds, or possibly thousands of data sessions was causing problems with the portal. We are planning to replace this in the next quarter to allow faster rendering all All data sessions in a single view.  Look for a new tab that will allow you to visualize all your data assets in a single view, which will include all the driven data, curves, flags, and mile markers.

Flags and Signs
We are extending the Flags feature to allow you to capture more data about a sign - you'll be able to store attributes about a sign along with its geo-referenced location. Look for this before year end.
