Epiphany is a season of great joy for all Christians as we celebrate the gift of God's Word made flesh. In the darkness of winter, we are illumined by the light of Christ in our lives. We seek to share this light as we do God's work in the world.

We hope this e-letter is a useful tool in connecting and staying connected with our St. Philip's community!

Food for Thought

As you probably have heard, on January 14, a majority of Anglican primates called for temporary sanctions on the Episcopal Church in response to a decision by the Episcopal Church's General Convention last July to authorize new marriage rites to be used by either same-sex or opposite-sex couples. It is a complex issue that generates heart-felt emotional responses, and it is good to be informed about the ramifications of it. Below are links to a few information sources.
