In the coming weeks, there will be several ways to express your thanks and best wishes to Greg and to Vicki before they depart to assume their new calls (Greg will be Associate Rector for Ministry Development and Vocational Discernment at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Fort Collins, Colorado, and Vicki will be Associate for Parish Life and Christian Formation at Christ Church, Grosse Pointe, Michigan). The last Sunday with us for both of them will be September 27. You can read more about their new calls here.



You're invited to a party on Friday, September 25, at 6 p.m. in the Murphey Gallery. It will be a potluck supper, with beer and wine available for donation (proceeds to benefit the After-School Music Program). Childcare will be provided. Please join us to celebrate Greg and Vicki and thank them for their ministries with us as they begin exciting new phases of their careers.

Two books of letters of appreciation are being assembled. If you would like to contribute letters, please send or bring them to the church office attn. Stella Lopez. Note that it is important that letters be on 8.5 x 11 paper and flat (not folded) - odd sizes of paper or cards do not work well in this type of presentation. Please send or bring your letters by Thursday, September 24.

If you wish to contribute to a purse for Greg or for Vicki, please make a check out to St. Philip's with either "Greg Foraker Purse" or "Vicki Hesse Purse" in the memo line, and put it in the offering plate or bring or mail it to the office (attn.
