A Balanced Perspective
June 11th, 2015
New Haven Lawn Club

6pm to 9pm - 2hr CME credit - $85
Dinner will be served

As providers of health care, we have special expertise in the care of children and adolescents. We may be called on to advise our patients and their parents about the potential impact of marijuana on adolescents for advice as they consider the use of marijuana for medical purposes.

  • What is the policy of each of our organizations on legalizing marijuana for medical or non-medical purposes?
  • What is currently known about the relationships of marijuana use with health and the developing brain?
  • What is the current legal status of adolescents' use of marijuana?
  • Does the legal status influence the degree of marijuana use by adolescents in the future?

Here is an opportunity to discuss these areas of concern with colleagues.
