Fall Faith "Virtual Circle"

While most all the Fall Faith circles have begun, there is one circle left
for which you may still sign-up. We have a "virtual circle" available this year for those long distance followers of Unity Church of Overland Park. This
virtual circle will begin "meeting" Sunday, October 13th at 6:00pm so
that participants will have an opportunity to hear, or view, the lesson
from October 6th online before their first discussion.  If interested,
just click here to contact circle facilitator, Deb Mathine, and she
will get you all the details you'll need to participate in this virtual circle.
Fall Faith EVENT and WORKSHOP!

This year's Fall Faith Event will be somewhat different than in years past. We will begin the evening with a reception in harmony hall and enjoy a variety of beverages and hors d'oeuvres. Everyone will have an equal chance to win fabulous prizes in our FUN-draising Drawing! Each entry in the drawing costs $5 (or get 5 entries for just $20).  Then, after the drawing, we will all head up to the sanctuary to enjoy "An Evening of Spiritual Comedy" with Kyle Cease.  Kyle was ranked #1 in 2009 on Comedy Central's Stand-Up Showdown. He is also a highly sought after motivational and inspirational speaker who uses comedy to get his message of consciousness out into the world. ( www.kylecease.com )He will take the themes of our Fall Faith book, Daring Greatly by Brene Brown, and throw a really humorous perspective on the whole thing.

Kyle will also offer a workshop, on Saturday the 16th, following the event. This will be a 5-hour motivational workshop with lunch included. Benefits from this talk and workshop will include minimizing, if not ending stage fright, writers block, hesitation, doubt, fear and moving towards what you really want in your life, moving to a place beyond where you are now.  Money, health, relationships, all that stuff can be improved as you move towards your core.  Kyle will guide you in the art of allowing and letting go and in the unlimited art of playing.  He'll also discuss adding humor to your life and work.  The workshop will be open to Fall Faith participants, as well as the greater community. So if you know someone who might be interested in, or benefit from the workshop, by all means, tell them about it!

Tickets for the Event and the Workshop, as well as entries for the

FUN-draising Drawing all go on sale Sunday, October 20th!

Women in Unity Meeting - Saturday, October 19

The "Radical Forgiveness" Ceremony/Workshop (a long-time favorite at Unity) returns on Saturday, Oct 19. Hundreds from UCOP have already attended this empowering ceremony/workshop (some more than once). Most of us already know that forgiveness is a powerful choice, an action that literally transforms your heart and life. Unfortunately, traditional forgiveness (let by-gones be by-gones) is often difficult and can take years to accomplish. "Radical Forgiveness" is a step-by-step technology that empowers you to forgive consciously and quickly. We won't just talk about forgiveness. During our sacred, mostly non-verbal "Radical Forgiveness" ceremony you will learn, experience and integrate this amazing process. Participants leave feeling lighter, more powerful and peaceful.
