Happy New Year!!!

With 2013 just a few days away, we close out 2012 in celebration of you and the difference you have made this year. Thank you for all the ways you have contributed to our spiritual community with your energy, participation, volunteer service and financial resources. We also celebrate our many collective achievements at Unity Church of Overland Park. Here are some highlights:
  • Sunday lesson videos are now available online, allowing us to spread our message outside our walls through video viewing.
  • We received the 2012 Table of Faiths award from The Greater Kansas City Interfaith Council.
  • In addition to donating over 1,030 pounds of food to Harvesters, in our first year of the Unity Garden we donated over 2,000 pounds of fresh produce to children and families of Head Start of Shawnee Mission - further contributing to the end of hunger in Kansas City.
  • Our new identity and logo was implemented throughout our campus along with a newly designed website.
  • In addition to our fall faith study circles, we held winter study circles for the first time in 2012.
  • Our Youth department hosted its very first parents day out Holiday Play Shop in December with over 20 children!
We end this year in gratitude for all the good experienced in your life and within our spiritual community. Please join us on New Year's Eve at 7 p.m. for a Burning Bowl Ceremony when together we will lovingly release 2012 and make way for a prosperous 2013.

Wishing you and those you love a very blessed 2013!

Blessings of peace, love and joy,
