Greetings!
This weekend on the final Sunday of fall faith we are talking about what the world needs now. What does the world need right now? Healing, a new normal, something else? "Supersize Your Heart: Love on a Global Scale" is the title of the last chapter in our book "Love for No Reason" and it offers us ways we can expand our love for no reason across the globe. The last chapter begins with Marianne Williamson's words: "There's an urgency on the planet today. We're living at a time on the earth when our great-great-grandchilden can't afford for us to move too slowly. Every place where we are weak, there is in the mind of God a blueprint where we become strong. Every place where we are sick, there is a blueprint in the mind of God where we become healthy."
Together we can heal this world, one heart at a time. We ARE love for no reason! Peace and blessings, Unity Church of Overland Park

I was visiting a friend who was in a particularly challenging situation. He shared that he found it hard to pray for himself when he was in the midst of such turmoil. He wondered if he prayed for others if it would also help him. His reasoning went like this: because we are all one, if we pray for healing for someone else, doesn't it also help us? more
