Greetings!

"Are you an agent of love or an agent of fear?" This is a great question and comes right from chapter 8 of our fall faith book "Love for No Reason". We each have the opportunity in every moment as we communicate with others to be an agent of love. How can we do this? Our book shares two love keys for communication. Key #1 - speak the language of love, and key #2 - hear from the heart.

Join us Sunday as we dive right into chapter 8 and learn more about "Being An Agent of Love". Plan to stay after services for a special class related to these two love keys on compassionate communication - Talking Your Walk - Listening and speaking from authenticity, empathy and compassion.

We look so forward to seeing you and celebrating God and life with you this Sunday. All are welcome so bring your friends!

Peace and richest blessings,
Unity Church of Overland Park

P.S. Many of you are sharing that you love this year's fall faith book. Share with us on Facebook how you've been love for no reason and what you've learned so far!

p bassWhat Difference Does it Make?

More than 25 years ago, my mother-in-law discovered she had a small Chinese Elm tree growing in her flower bed. Brian and I were living in a new house at the time and we were in great need of some landscaping so we took the little sapling and planted it in our yard. We've long since moved from that home, but Brian recently returned to Houston and drove past it. read more

Did You Know?

Did you know that our ministers offer baptisms and christenings? Unity believes that spiritual baptism/christening signifies the inflowing of the Holy Spirit within an individual. The ceremony is designed to honor the Christ Nature within the individual and bless them as beloved children of God. We offer christenings during our services 2 to 3 times a year. We offer private christenings in the peace chapel any time based on it's availability. For more information contact Sandi Keeler, assistant to the senior minister, 913.649.1750 ext. 3004.
