Beginning February 19, 2013, ten nursing facilities in Las Vegas, Boulder City, and Pahrump, began a 4-year initiative with a goal of reducing avoidable hospital admissions among their long-stay residents. HealthInsight and the Wellness Policy Network Task Force

Heidi Jaeger Smith, MHA, PMP, CTHP, Beacon Project Manager, HealthInsight

On February 7th and 8th, the Utah Wellness Policy Networking Summit convened to refine their direction for 2013. They sought input from a myriad of organizations dedicated to health and healthcare including Intermountain Healthcare, the University of Utah, the public school system, third party payers, the Utah Department of Health, Happy Healthy Human Beings and the Wellness Collaborative (H3BE), and HealthInsight. Framing the discussion is the necessity for integration of the three "P"s.  Click here to learn more about the three "P"s
