Health Insight 2012 Fifty-five physician office practices were recipients of the 2012 HealthInsight Quality Award. These physician office practices were selected for demonstrating high quality care and a commitment to excellence in health care.The photos of these recipients are now available on our  website.

Meaningful Use Help - No Fee Slots Still Available

Over 1,300 primary care providers have taken advantage of the FULLY subsidized services offered by the HealthInsight Regional Extension Center (REC).  HealthInsight offers a full range of services to help you, as a primary care provider, achieve Meaningful use at no cost.  However, less than 150 openings remain for primary care physicians to receive these subsidized services.  To ensure that you do not miss this opportunity, please contact HealthInsight today.  We will be happy discuss the advantages of partnering with HealthInsight and enroll you in our program at NO cost through Stage I Meaningful Use.  In order to guarantee enrollment, you will need to have a signed service level agreement with HealthInsight.

"Whether you have diabetes, or care for someone with diabetes, living well and managing diabetes can be challenging. Healthy living begins with understanding diabetes, medications, and food choices to keep your diabetes under control. Enhance your diabetes knowledge at our FREE interactive and fun filled tours. 

   
Our Diabetes Care Pharmacist will start each 90-minute tour with diabetes education and tips on keeping your heart healthy. Our Registered Dietician will then lead you through the store to teach you how to read labels and plan meals or snacks. You will also learn what foods to have on hand, that taste good, and will help keep you diabetes under control. Learn about, and sample, new food products. Living well with diabetes can be enjoyable and empowering." click here to sign up for the class.

"Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is at its highest level in history because the two leading causes of kidney failure - diabetes and high blood pressure - have become epidemic. Symptoms of kidney failure are silent until very late stages. There is no cure for CKD. Meaningful Use - Do Not Delay! Medicare Incentives Dwindling, Disincentives Looming

If you have not yet started meaningful use, 2013 would be a good year to start. In 2014, eligible professionals who have not done 90 days of meaningful use will lose an additional $15,000 from the maximum Medicare incentive payment. This reduction in payment does not affect eligible professionals receiving the Medicaid incentive.

 

If you have already done meaningful use for your first year, don't stop now, otherwise, you may miss out on Medicare incentive payments. Read more. . .

Awareness Month

Every year, about 140,000 Americans are diagnosed with colorectal cancer, and more than 50,000 people die from it." Read more. . .
