Are You Ready to Attest?
If you are an eligible professional who participated in the Medicare Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program in 2012, you must complete your attestation by Thursday, February 28, 2013. In order to be able to attest you must have completed your 2012 reporting period by December 31, 2012. Please contact your HealthInsight facilitator if you have any questions. Adverse Drug Event Resources

HealthInsight is excited to offer two new tools to engage your patients in the collaborative team approach to achieve optimal health outcomes: - An information article for use with patients describing how the collaborative approach empowers patients to seek comprehensive medication management.
- A quiz designed to raise patient awareness about risks for medication errors, helping them to identify if they are at risk. This tool directs patients to contact their physician and pharmacist to discuss their medications, including over-the-counter and supplements.

Meaningful Use Help - No Fee Slots Available

Over 1,300 primary care providers have taken advantage of the FULLY subsidized services offered by the HealthInsight Regional Extension Center (REC). HealthInsight offers a full range of services to help you, as a primary care provider, achieve Meaningful use at no cost. However, less than 150 openings remain for primary care physicians to receive these subsidized services. To ensure that you do not miss this opportunity, please contact HealthInsight today. We will be happy discuss the advantages of partnering with HealthInsight and enroll you in our program at NO cost through Stage I Meaningful Use. In order to guarantee enrollment, you will need to have a signed service level agreement with HealthInsight.
Once all of the fully subsidized openings are filled, we will still offer the same great range of services, but for a fee. So do not delay! Contact our Project Coordinators at (800) 483-0932 or rec@healthinsight.org

Changing Trends in the Prevalence and Disparities of Obesity and Other Cardiovascular Disease Risk Factors

"It has been of note that despite the increasing obesity prevalence in the USA observed in previous decades, a decline in CVD risk factors has occurred which has been attributed to the influence of lifestyle changes and therapies. However, in the last decade, CVD risk factor downward trends seem to have reached a plateau or even undergone the beginning of an unfavorable increase."
