Corneal Transplant Recipient Gives Thanks This Holiday Season

National Donor SabbathCate admits that she has so much to be thankful for this holiday season- and her sight is right on the top of the list! This past spring Cate received a corneal transplant to help restore her failing vision. Today, she is able to see her two daughters enter adulthood while she continues to pursue a career in writing.

Tournament of Roses Parade- Donate Life Float

The Donate Life America float makes it appearance on New Year's Day. The Tournament of Roses Parade will be broadcast on ABC, HGTV, Univision and the Hallmark Channel.

Join Donate Life in Honoring Donors & Recipients on New Year's Day

American Diabetes MonthTune in to the 124th Tournament of Roses Parde on January 1, 2013 to witness a heartfelt tribute to eye, organ and tissue donors and transplant recipients across the nation. Donate Life America's entry into the Rose Parade, Journeys of the Heart, is inspired by the many journeys experience by families and recipients during the donation and transplantation process.

The family of John Lefferts, a Heartland Lions Eye Banks eye donor from Athens, Ill., will ride on this year's float sponsored by our organizational partner, Gift of Hope.
