Postal Service Price Increase Postponed
The Postal Service announced on March 27th that it has POSTPONED its plans to raise rates on April 26, 2015.
On April 16th, the Postal Service announced that the new implementation date will be May 31, 2015 pending approval by the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC).
The rationale behind the postponement was based on the fact that select rates (e.g. First-Class Mail and Standard Class Mail) have been approved by the PRC while rates for competitive products (e.g. Priority Mail and Express Mail) have NOT been approved by the PRC.
We will continue to follow this issue and report back when additional information is available.

Reminder: Priority Mail Express Requires Special Attention
All Daily Mail Service customers are reminded that Priority Mail Express (formerly known as Express Mail) letters and parcels require special handling by our personnel once they arrive at our facilities. To avoid possible delays in processing, please place Priority Mail Express letters in parcels either 1) in a separate tray or tub, or, 2) place on top of your other mail, or 2) alert your driver that you have Priority Mail Express items included in your mail.

38 Years and Counting
April 14, 2015 marked the 38th anniversary of our company's founding by Bob and Karen Rhoa in the basement of their Saint Joseph, Michigan home.
Life was quite different in 1977. Here are just a few items for your consideration.
In 1977:
- A First-Class stamp cost $0.13. (Current rate: $0.49)
- Life expectancy was 73.3 years: (Current life expectancy: 78.8 years)
- The space shuttle Enterprise made its first test glide, from the back of a 747 aircraft. (The space shuttle program was retired in 2011.)
- A gallon of gasoline cost $0.59 (Current rate: $2.29)

Electronic Report for Address Changes Now Available for Self Metering Customers
Self-Metering Daily Mail Service customers can now receive an electronic report detailing old addresses and new addresses for their customers who have filed a Change of Address Notice with the Postal Service.
The new electronic report is available for daily download from iMailConnect.com to self-metering customers (i.e. SortMax™, Option Free® Governmental, Option Free® University, and Mail Express™ 5-Digit) who participate in any of our NCOA LINK® MPE Services.
