My new devotional book, HIS AWESOME MAJESTY: PRAISING GOD'S GREATNESS is available in eBook and paperback on Amazon. Here's a little about the book:

Our day-to-day troubles often feel immediate and momentous to us, while God can seem absent and powerless. What happened to the majestic God of the Bible?

According to author Jo Huddleston, the problem doesn't lie with God. It is we who have forgotten his greatness. Whether you're feeling spiritually dry, or you simply want to spend a moment each day reflecting on our glorious King, His Awesome Majesty can enhance your appreciation of our magnificent God.

Join with Jo Huddleston in 70 conversational, devotional thoughts on God's splendor. Her meditations sometimes challenge and sometimes console, but they usually help clear obstacles from your personal access to God's power.
His Awesome Majesty is written by someone who understands the troubling times other women face. In her words of hope, you can feel the healing caress of the Father, and enjoy personal contentment in his presence. Let Jo Huddleston remind you that God comes in our suffering and in our happiness, but always "God comes in awesome majesty." (Job 37:22)

"His Awesome Majesty is a delightful and engaging work containing conversational, devotional thoughts about God's splendor. The volume focuses on knowing God personally and points the reader to God's unlimited resources. Primarily for women, the author's insights highlight themes such as perspective, commitment, provision and relationships."

Through Waters Deep
by Sarah Sundin

Sarah Sundin is the author of seven historical novels, including Through Waters Deep (Revell, August 2015). Her novella "I'll Be Home for Christmas" in Where Treetops Glisten was a finalist for the 2015 Carol Award, and her novel On Distant Shores was a double finalist for the 2014 Golden Scroll Awards. A mother of three, Sarah lives in California, works on-call as a hospital pharmacist, and teaches Sunday school. http://www.sarahsundin.com.

Welcome, Sarah. Where is your favorite vacation spot? Why?
I don't really have a favorite, because I love variety! I've thoroughly enjoyed England, Scotland, Germany, France, Italy, and Australia, thanks to my husband's frequent flyer miles. I also love exploring America, from the cities to the small towns to the mountains to the beaches. There's so much in the world to see!

What can readers expect from you next?
The second book in the Waves of Freedom series, Anchor in the Storm, comes out in the summer of 2016. For plucky Lillian Avery, America's entry into World War II means a chance to prove herself as a pharmacist in Boston. She loves the wartime challenges of her new job but spurns the attention of society boy Ens. Archer Vandenberg, even if Arch is her brother's best friend. As Arch's destroyer battles U-boats along the East Coast in the darkest days of the war, Lillian uncovers a black market drug ring. Arch's efforts to aid Lillian's investigation and to win her trust fling them both into danger--from torpedoes, drug lords, and opened hearts.

Please tell us a little about your novel, Through Waters Deep.
It is 1941 and America teeters on the brink of war. Outgoing naval officer Ensign Jim Avery escorts British convoys across the North Atlantic in a brand-new destroyer, the USS Atwood. Back on shore, Boston Navy Yard secretary Mary Stirling does her work quietly and efficiently, happy to be out of the limelight. Yet, despite her reserved nature, she never could back down from a challenge. When evidence of sabotage on the Atwood is found, Jim and Mary must work together to uncover the culprit. A bewildering maze of suspects emerges, and Mary is dismayed to find that even someone close to her is under suspicion. With the increasing pressure, Jim and Mary find that many new challenges--and dangers--await them.

What Am I Reading?
What

I recently read Beyond All Dreams by Elizabeth Camden, Bethany House, 2015, 357 pages. This historical romance is set in Washington, D.C. in the late 1800s and is about Anna O'Brien and Luke Callahan, complete opposites. Anna is content to hide away in the Library of Congress and fulfill her position in the map room while Luke is the arrogant politician. But quiet Anna and flamboyant Luke find an attraction to one another long before admitting it to each other. Families, secrets, and the general political atmosphere of their city make for a bumpy ride for them as a couple--hurdles they must meet head on and overcome if they are to have a life together. Great characterizations and setting descriptions. Elizabeth Camden spins a yarn that holds the reader through the last page. A Good Read..

A little boy wanted $100.00 very badly and prayed for weeks, but nothing happened. Then he decided to write God a letter requesting the $100.00.

When the postal authorities  received the letter to God, USA, they decided to send it to the President.

The president was so amused that he instructed his secretary to send the little boy a $5.00 bill. The president thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy.

The little boy was delighted with the $5.00 bill and sat down to write a thank-you note to God, which read:

Dear God: Thank you very much for sending  the money. However, I noticed that for some reason you sent it through Washington, D.C., and, as usual, those turkeys deducted $95.00 in taxes.
