DeICE Summer Mini Conference July 30
The DeICE Summer Mini-Conference will be held at Joliet West High School on Thursday, July 30, from 9 am-12:30 pm. There's even a STEM workshop for children of attendees entering grades 1-6 (a small fee is required.) Check out all the sessions and register today!

Taste of Tech - August 3-4-5
ICE Chip and ICE Cold have joined forces to bring you the 3rd Annual Taste of Technology. This three-day workshop format provides a great hands on, in-depth experience. Each day participants can take in up to two half-day (2.5 hour) workshops - AM and PM sessions will be offered - on a variety of topics. Some of the topics for this year include Google, Coding in the Classroom, Makerspaces for the Classroom, 1:1 integration, using video to enhance the classroom and more. Up to 5 PDCs will be available each day. The cost for the general sessions is $5 for each half-day session, either the AM or PM session, or $10 for both AM and PM. TechCon 2015: Call for Innovators
|
For more than five years, ICE has partnered with the Illinois Association of School Business Officials (IASBO) and the Illinois Educational Technology Leaders (IETL) to offer a one-day conference in October known as Techcon. Techcon 2015 will be on Friday, October 16. Collaboration & idea sharing is key to innovation. For 2015, TechCon is building a hands-on conference and we need your stories to help us implement innovation for the future. Submit a story about your district's innovation, and if your story is chosen to share at TechCon, you may qualify for a reduced registration fee of $95. Fill out the Call for Innovators Questionnaire by July 20th to submit your story!

The K-12 Learning Space Symposium is the first of its kind to be offered in the Midwest. This two-day event will be on July 21-22 at Arrowhead High School in Heartland, WI near Milwaukee. ICE members will receive a discount off the regular registration of $299. Cost to ICE members is $239 through July 1 and $269 after July 1.
